  1. Didn't take long for it to go off.
  2. Nearly every thread I see started on Demonland is full of gloom and doom. Can't we get one thread with some good news for a change.
  3. They are obviously not known for their use of the banana.
  4. It can be done though. As I said the banana bread at Starbucks was ordinary and I have had banana smoothies that were warm and tasteless. One must treat the banana with respect.
  5. Thanks will look forward to it. Shared a banana smoothie with Mrs. Redleg yesterday from a place called the Avenue and it was great.
  6. Did you save any for me?
  7. Well certainly not for banana bread.
  8. And if they did, with their skill, they would fall off.
  9. The Starbucks coffee was ok the banana bread tasted like stale cardboard.
  10. Our players would drown.
  11. There is order back in the world, I had a piece of banana bread at starbucks tonight.
  12. The Kreuzer cup game appears to be the most costly in recent history. That win cost us Cotchin and Nic Nat.
  13. We have too many players who are not AFL standard. Our disposal is still poor. Our kick out plan doesn't exist. We need another 4 skilled mids.
  14. I have had a great 24 hours as well, dees haven't been thrashed today. Oh that's right Casey were done by 10 goals.
  15. Having just read some of the other threads on Demonland, I am extremely grateful that this one has not descended to the nastiness of a few of the others. There is still a place for a laugh and a discussion on football and our club without being attacked.
  16. Now if only our team could regain theirs'.
  17. Can't find any banana cake, might have to make do with some banana bread and a banana smoothie.
  18. Fear not, I am off to the GC for a few days and I know a place that makes great banana smoothies.
  19. Had a very small slice of carrot cake today, forgot how good it is. It is even better than the great banana cake.
  20. The problem is that the vibe/rumour is that MN has lost the players and if that is so, he has to go. BTW they play like he has lost them.
  21. Suppose so.
  22. Interesting article in the Age by Michael Gleeson, on Dees and Dogs. It shows that the Dogs have performed worse over the last 18 games and despite the extraordinary events that engulfed the Dees and their injury list, we cop it, while the Dogs fly under the radar.
  23. That was not what I was actually getting at, as of course Gys was pick 11 and not the bloke we all thought we would get. But then again we aren't as smart as BP.
  24. I never understood why we seemed so desperate to get him. BTW how is Gys going at Werribee?
  25. Our football has destroyed my interest in the game for this year at least. I actually think I am getting numb to our performances. I thought there were several seagulls who played better than some of our players last sunday. PS. If the Coach had any positive input into getting Pedersen, Gillies, Byrnes and Rodan, then he has no idea of what is needed in modern AFL football.
