  1. We have been given the graveyard shift this week again, like very other year, late on mothers day, against an Interstater. Denham, again showing his hatred of all things Melbourne FC, said this weeks crowd would show if we are being supported. We got over 20000 to both Coast and GWS while the mighty Carlton against us could only get 35000 with all of their members and supporters and playing against a local team. No comment from Denham or Dwayne the pain on that.
  2. What, my tinea cream has peptides in it. I thought my toes were looking unusually fit lately.
  3. Makes a nice change from bananas.
  4. I disagree. He is slow and is caught often. His disposal is not great as he also turns it over, unless of course he was told to give it to the opposition. He adds nothing to our side.Would rather get a Taggert or Tynan in once fully fit, or Magner who would add far more than Byrnes. Byrnes is a small forward only, how many goals has he kicked?
  5. Still think he should go. Turns it over more than most. Slow.
  6. Lucky them, silly us.
  7. I can assure you I am not happy with a 10 goal loss. I am happy that at least we tried. It is abundantly clear that we were beaten by a quicker and more skilled team. Our side lacks both badly. I am sick to death of banging on about my pet hate, but we have too many players who have no disposal skill whatsoever. this is not development I believe. We have simply drafted players who can't use the ball properly. As for the likes of Betts and his mates, you don't develop other players to become them, you have to draft them and we have failed miserably. At least now our players are having a go. I would concentrate on developing the lst as best we can and turn over more players at years end including Gillies, Pedersen, Byrnes and Rodan. A mistake, they were the wrong players.
  8. Pretty quiet actually.
  9. Perfect to wear, to watch cheap imitation football.
  10. Ah, another great sporting weekend for Redleg.
  11. Lets give him 1.3 years before we make the call.
  12. They will know I am a Dees man, trust me.
  13. Some minor good news, I am not in a carlton box, only reserved seats in AFL on level 2. Hope some Dees fans are around.
  14. This is going to be a tough sunday. Invited to sit in a Carlton box and will probably witness a 20 goal thrashing and BOG for Brock.
  15. It is pathetic that the MFC have killed off any interest in this season for most of us, within a couple of games.
  16. Pity the bombers didn't listen to his song Return to Sender, may have saved them some heartache, if they sent the stuff back, rather than injecting it into unsuspecting footballers.
  17. You know I don't want to be the bearer of more bad news, but Elvis died of a heart attack, due to his obese condition, contributed to by his constant eating of fried banana sandwiches. I hope your sandwich, or the banana wasn't fried.
  18. The way things are going, if I had every ticket in the raffle, I still wouldn't win.
  19. Old and getting older very quickly supporting this club.
  20. It will be hard to go when a 20 goal thrashing is on the cards.
  21. Ah the memories. I remember going to games when we thought we had a chance.
  22. Great read in the Age footy section on the Dees today people. See the discussion on the Age Drug Article thread. Certainly paints the MFC in a much better light and pots the AFL at the same time.
  23. That's a bit nasty WJ. I think they would know how to spell " banjos".
  24. She didn't.
