  1. If they are worried about both, I think they will play Clark before Dawes. He is athletic and harder to stop than Dawes.
  2. I think Viney is a certainty this week and I would play Clark. He looked ok and can play out of the goal square. My daughter saw Dawes today and he thought he would be OK to play as well. Trenners needs more game time at Casey and probably another hitout for Blease as well.
  3. I hear you brother. Amen.
  4. Not glee, but when I see 14 new players on the list, one next year who could be great, hear that our fitness is up, see the Coach fitting into his role more comfortably, note that the players gone generally added nothing, speak to guys like Neil Craig about our future, while not gleeful I am certainly more optimistic.
  5. Not getting a lot of joy from the Dees are you?
  6. It certainly put one on mine. Gee it's making me thirsty.
  7. Agree. They are also smug and that irritates me as well.
  8. Just watched On The Couch and once again Sheahan had a go at Melbourne, saying Jimmy and the Board and the administrators were complicit in the tanking and should all have been punished. He was reminded that we were found not guilty by the AFL and said oh well. I have now watched or read several media people have a go at us and in the same breath or sentence, totally ignore the other clubs that did the same. As a result I have come to the following conclusion: "A large percentage of media people are gutless lackies and bullies."
  9. Robert Walls couldn't believe it, on SEN on monday morning.
  10. I was just interested. I suppose we will get more info in the real season.
  11. How has Gysberts gone in the last 3 weeks, anyone know?
  12. Did you hear that joke via Texas?
  13. Gee, I think it is safer to discuss bananas on here, rather than religion. Does the Pope ever wear banana colored robes?
  14. Heatwave finally over, training should be a bit easier now.
  15. Hilarious post on another thread by Nutbean, showing the latest dunny brush and it's called, yes, you guessed it. Obviously a lot of market research went into the most appropriate name for the brush used to clean toilets.
  16. Watched the first 3/4 of the game saturday so far. The umpiring was disgraceful. We showed some glimpses.
  17. Off to the GC next week and playing in the hottest part of the day. We are certainly getting no favours from the AFL. I would take the youngsters and give them another game and some travel experience.
  18. He does, but they are still rare.
  19. Agreed, but they have been told to pay them, as they are spectacular and rare these days, as players are told not to kick to contests.
  20. Somebody else got to it first.
  21. Guess I will have to take the blender along as well.
  22. Probably head out to Casey for the game. What's the banana situation like out there?
  23. Thank you. She is quite ap"pealing".
  24. Selling.
  25. Beats mine, sitting at dusty, hot, horse sales
