  1. It usually does, but I heard Cats players say Scott just said go out and enjoy yourself. Pretty kum-by-yah if you ask me. I hardly think Mitchell and Scott do everything. They both have several assistant coaches, what do they do then if Scott and Mitchell do everything, et the drinks. Coaching is a team effort of several people and often the Coach is the man manager.
  2. Syd read my post again. I didn’t call anyone a failure, I spoke about the frustration of supporters waiting for years with the worst facilities in the AFL, without a definite announcement of the new site being approved. Can you please point out where I used the word failures.
  3. I am a bit bemused as to whether the Coach is meant to be everything, or manage everything. I think the latter is fine. We know the players love Goody and that is a good start. If he has the right people to run the game plan, match day moves and fitness, then we would seem to be well coached, would we not? Goody doesn’t appear to make moves on the day, that is fine if the guys in the box are doing a good job. If the tactical guys are not good enough then change them.
  4. You can understand the frustration of supporters whose club has the worst facilities in the AFL, with having to wait at least 10-13 years from a Club Board who said it was a major aim of theirs, without a definite announcement that a new site has been approved, let alone have the project finished. When the announcement comes, that will be great news for the club, but the frustration of the supporters is understandable. There will be time to congratulate those responsible for the new facility, when it is closer to a reality.
  5. Did he pay for the lunch? I can't believe those figures.
  6. Think you will find we have a new President soon, after the review is done.
  7. Funny show Schitt’s Creek.
  8. Yes but he was a line Coach at Pies. I would endorse the lollipop guy at the grandkids school to Coach the Blues or Pies.
  9. Picks received plus maybe another to get Harley? Or we pick up 3 early players in the draft. Could really change the makeup of the side.
  10. Smith's contract ended this year.
  11. Probably to split and get Baker and keep a good pick.
  12. As a line Coach not the Senior one.
  13. Pretty confident we won’t.
  14. F1st maybe, then with something else. We will trade Tomlinson to Saints possibly to not dilute their Battle compo. There will be other things happening and depends on if Houston wants us and if he can push hard enough. Then to get another top 20 pick we use 25 for ANB, bundled with Grundy pick which I think we still have.
  15. He looked ok in a couple of games I saw.
  16. ANB is 28.
  17. I think we are still in this.
  18. Good point. I was thinking it was 25 when we gave it to them, but of course it was a second round pick, not number 25 at the time. So therefore we are getting a better pick back, than we thought we were giving them.
  19. As it turns out, not even remotely possible.
  20. It sounds fair that we get back 25 the pick we gave for McAdam. ANB is a Premiership player, who never misses a game and regularly finished top 10 in the B and F. McAdam is an injury prone player, who played 3 games with the Dees this year and 7 with the Crows last year and is older than ANB. Yeah getting our pick back sounds fair, NOT!
  21. Certainly is quiet around here, is anything happening with the Dees, its been pretty quiet in the media?
  22. Another member of the media.
  23. Kozzie's Mother passed away in 2021 and we gave him time off to deal with the sad time for he and his family. Ricky Mentha could join the Dees this off season and he is another indigenous player, which would bring the number to 4.
  24. We are giving him that right and are trading him. I was only talking about what we get in the trade and why we shouldn't be shafted. You seem to be suggesting that the club is against trading him, which it isn't.
  25. Well we got Fullarton, McAdam and Billings. 🤔
