Probably hoping to copy the Tigers this year and Giants last week, with small forwards playing higher up the ground and I can't believe I am saying this, but with good ball use, flooding back when in possession, giving several options. Or not.

Well, if we win, we are back in the eight.
  3. You value Gibbs highly.
  4. If Gibbs goes to Crows at 29 before next season, I wonder what his value is. What worries me about that deal, is that Carlton will go for Lever themselves. I am told they are into Kelly up to their eyeballs.
  5. If we get Lever, then we can concentrate on other areas we are deficient in, such as another quick outside mid and a talented small forward.
  6. The reverse of the Gibbs situation. That could help. Goose/gander.
  7. There is no precedent at the MRP, or when the shoe is on the other foot. Also at the time Scott left, he was seeking a compassionate release for a family issue. Not sure we ever found out what that issue was, or if there even was one. However, if indeed there was an issue, we did the right thing.
  8. I would, but agree it won't happen.

Would love to be a fly on the dashboard, listening to the scintillating conversation.

More reasons than usual to win this week.

And then again he might not. Not sure if the umpires are big on the quick handball clearance.

We need to win this game desperately. Hawks with an easy draw are another team making a run at the eight. A few more wins are needed for us to be certain finalists. Win the next two and we are a huge chance. If we do make it, we need to avoid an elimination final interstate. On a more serious note, the banana circumciser above, is a horrid invention.
  14. Who knows? There will be trades done and Kent could be part of one. For example if we were after Lever, we might trade a player like Kent to get something and then add that to our first pick as an offer. I am sure we will target someone and we now are a " destination club" as the phrase goes.

If Milkshake can find his niche as a good tagger while still getting possessions, that will help us.

Once again we play a team at full strength with a two day longer break, while we have major injury problems.

There is only one thread you need concern yourself with and you are on it.

See that Shuey didn't limp off, but he did have a fairly quiet night for him. Some poetic justice.

Wouldn't mind some poetic justice tonight, seeing Shuey limp off, not to return, with a hammy or whatever, at the 2 minute mark of the first quarter.

It's hard to find good help.

How is the crushed banana remedy going on the tinea?
  23. Very happy if he spoils like the knock on to Oscar, which went to Harmes which went to Watts which went over the goal umpire's head and continues playing as he has so far for us. Great pick up.
  24. You now the simplest thing to do, is for us all to get behind him and give him support and hopefully he develops into a very good player for the Dees.
