  1. DL has just put me on the trade market. PS. It is not his lack of intelligence that sees him in this position, though it could be mine that sees me in my current one.
  2. That would make you and expert.
  3. Hawks have ruled out any interest. Not the brightest tool in the shed, or most articulate. When referring to what might happen in the next few weeks he said " the past three weeks will let us know more".
  4. Gee I leave for 5 minutes and look what you guys get into .
  5. Not so worried about what Port will say but rather what the Crows will.
  6. Sydney's entire back 6 came through the Rookie list and that comes after the picks in the 60's, just as an example of what you can miss. I would rather give a young kid a chance, than hang on too long to a player who is not best 22, coming off a knee reco and who will likely be gone at the end of the season. Anyway it is not my decision.
  7. Whitfield just signed a new contract.
  8. Agree on that.
  9. No worries, no one on a contract to be retired or traded anymore. They serve their contract in full on our list. The list is stuffed.
  10. Yes retirement.
  11. I am honouring the contract and paying him, just not playing him.
  12. Hang on, he got a 3 year deal he was happy with, he has played 6 games in the first year of that contract and got paid in full, then no games this year as injured and gets paid in full and can still get paid this year whether he plays or not. Then again we could make him do all the work and not play him once, watching him go out as a has been. Unfair, no not at all, actually very fair and even generous for what we have got back. PS. We don't owe anybody a game.
  13. No it is the old one.
  14. Yes you do if the parties agree and if not, you are not putting in as much either with less pressure on lifestyle. All AFL careers end sometime and to get to 30 is pretty good in the AFL.
  15. Empty seats everywhere, embarrassing for the AFL.
  16. About 180cms and we kicked out to him from full back and despite whoever was watching him, he generally marked it. Very strong, well balanced and great hands. Not quick, but rarely caught. Loved a goal. A great player for us.
  17. But that's just it, IMO we didn't try, or at least try hard enough and it seems all at the club agree.
  18. Not delisted but retiring and receiving his full pay. Colin played 6 games in 16 and obviously none this year due to injury and will be 30 at the start of the next season, coming off a knee reco. If the club is of the opinion that even fully fit he is not in our best 22, then retiring and maybe playing a year or two at Casey, combined with coaching, is not unconscionable at all. It is actually helping him with a future career path.
  19. Only 21 and plenty of upside.
  20. I doubt that Salem is up for trade, or rather being pushed for trade.
  21. You are changing the argument. You said we lost those two games because of a lack of talent on the list. I strongly disagree. We lost because of a poor mental approach. Do we need more talent on the list, yes of course we do, but they are two different arguments.
  22. Doesn't need a source as he is speculating. Said he "could" be gettable not he "is" gettable. Here is one from me, Danger and Martin could be gettable.
  23. Losing those 2 games has nothing to do with the talent on our list, it was to do with application. If you want guys with more killer attitude that is one thing, but we had the talent to win those games. We lost those games because of our mindset and attitude.
  24. We won't be derelict.
  25. Trouble is VDB is always injured.
