Pity the Crows were decimated with injuries.
-
I always loved CCR.
-
I thought Frost was a backman.
-
These selections show me that most of us outside the inner sanctum have very little idea what goes on inside it.
-
Agree on Dom, Jake and Gus, but I think assuming not too much rain, that Frost might get the nod ahead of Hannan, as insurance and because of his pace and ability to play a few positions. Then again Goody hasn't rung me yet and team has to be in by 5.00.
-
Not worried about him, he will be ok for us. To me his area of improvement needs to be in reading the play.
-
Bombers get a much weakened Crows side at home.
-
If the rain looks like holding off I think we have to play Frost, who can replace an injured tall if necessary. He also has pace which can help. I am surprised Stretch is not on the bench as he actually played well in the JLT. He and Hannan could be the unlucky ones.

Great news for us. I think it is now a perfect time for Tom Mac especially and also his brother to extend their contracts with us.

Goodwin says Viney & TMac out for 6-8 Weeks
Redleg replied to Sir Why You Little's topic in Melbourne Demons
Who do we blame for Tom? Seriously though, without being called on MFCSS or whatever, this club can't take a trick. Every year we have good players go down, often before the season starts and for extended periods. As someone said on another thread, last year we lost 168 games of player availability due to injury and 70 to our best 6. How the hell do you win games with those injuries and especially to your key players. No wonder the Tigers with not an injury and a soft draw, did so well in an even competition. It is also why I regard pre season reports as useless as we are always training the house down and come the first game the injuries are there. End of rant, Go Dees. Luckily our depth is far deeper.- 181 replies

Wish I could use that line in my work.

But the Roos were united, in their anger at Wayne.
-
Hope no one on here disagrees with that.

I think so but who is to say the 3 or 4 weeks was correct. Maybe it was best guess and then he improved quickly to be fit enough to play. The point I am making is that we don't know as we are not Doctors and don't examine the injuries. Also it is not an exact science. Oh you have a finger injury that will be 17 days out of footy. It is best guess made on experience and examination.
-
Maybe he doesn't even know if new problems keep surfacing. Then again if it is bad, he and the club may not want fans to know.
-
Fair enough that it MAY be related to the earlier injury, but of course it may not, but it is certainly not hard to argue that it's not related to the earlier injury as we don't know exactly what the earlier injury and the current injuries are.
-
Agree. Let the media call us wimps and see if we answer as a united team on the ground.
-
Read my earlier post just above this one.
-
It is getting tiresome to read from non medical people, who didn't examine his injury, that he came back too soon, especially when we hear from him and club medical staff that the current problems are not the ones that he allegedly came back too soon from.

Ring the club, they have a group of tickets at each away venue where Dees fans can sit together.

I prefer his cousin who kept the full family name, Burt Bacharch.

So not on the jumper. Its really good to have another international brand, along with Zurich: "We are thrilled to welcome INFINITI, a luxury car brand that operates in more than 50 countries worldwide, to the Melbourne Football Club,” he said.
