WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KADE KOLODJASHNIJ
I wonder if KK could be part of a May deal.

We can't get rid of everyone and I hope Hunt stays.

Why should they?

Farewell Jesse Hogan
The way Lever was talking on Fox Footy tonight, Jesse is gone.
-
Josh Kelly
They are tradeable and certainly by picking players and then trading them. Yes Grigg was on Crows list.

Good get Freddy, I actually think we will pay him, out or try and find him a new home for a nothing trade. That would be 11 changes, a hell of a lot for a side now playing finals.

In the words of Freo to GC, last year, about Lachie Weller, " you want him you pay our price". Guess what, they did. If Weller was pick 2, Jesse is pick 1,2,3,4 and 5.

I think Weller was just pick 2. A mile overpriced at that. " Eventually, the Suns went further than they wished, coughing up pick no 2 and the rights to the second best kid in the country. "

Rumour File
Harley Balic (ret) Tom Bugg (del) Lochie Filipovic (del) Mitch King (del) Pat McKenna (del) Cameron Pedersen (del) Bernie Vince (ret) The above 7 players plus maybe Kent, Tyson and Jesse leaving, lead me to a rumour that we might have up to 10 new players on the list by xmas.

Blues will not trade Pick 1. They will get Mitch McG, by trading their 2 pre draft state league picks to the Crows, who would use them on Grigg and McAdam. AFL therefore has given Mitch to the Blues for free, to help them.

Makes the Tyson and Pick 9 ( Salem ) deal for Kelly's pick 2 look pretty sick now, in hindsight. Tyson will probably be gone this trade period.

Guess I won't see him at the local cafe anymore.

There was talk of Freo swapping pick 4 if Neale is traded, or 5 for picks 9 and 10, I think with Port. If we trade Jesse for say 4 and 5 why cant we do that trade. We then would have 5 , 9 and 10. We could use 10 in a trade and have 5 and 9 in the draft to take top end talent. You could then end up with 3 players for Jesse.

Ridiculous. You value him less than Lever, Gibbs at 29 and Wingard. First two were 2 first rounders and Wingard is being placed in the same category, a hot and cold flanker.

GC will take Lukosius and Rozee who are good mates as well to try and keep them up there.

Andrew Gaff
To me Gaff is gone from WC as if he was staying he would be announcing it now, to give them a lift for the GF. I would think that on monday or tuesday he will announce his preferred club. According to Pro Dee's source that will be the Roos. That will see a few dominos start to fall, as for one, the Eagles will be into Kelly, the Cats' one, big time. This is going to be an interesting 3 weeks.

And Cerra has just extended his contract and won’t be cleared.

Maybe he is the closest we can get to an American giant, who can play forward or ruck.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
May will be 27 in January. Probably has 4 seasons in him. He is 193cms and that is not big for a key defender these days. He is averaging only 15 games a year over his 8 years. He is not quick and will get slower. I am not sure he is the best bet. Would we better placed, if trading Jesse, to ask for their early 2 first rounders, if Neale goes and Alex Pearce, maybe clearing Kent back home in the deal?

We are in the box seat and Freo are desperate.

As long as we are not the ones stuffed, leave it to the turkey.
