WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Apparently the AFL have ruled it out already. He will have to be traded.

Luke Parker
Someone told SEN they saw him and Dodoro today at a coffee shop.

Who do we realistically target for a trade?
They are either joking or have no idea.

2 of them are ok. Best thing that can be done is give the big boo at bad decisions. With the large crowd, that is a large noise of dissatisfaction, that will affect future final appointments. That is all they care about. TBH generally finals are umpired fairly well. We just need to bring our best footy and umpires shouldn’t come into it.

So happy we don't have to act like headless chooks and bid for every player who is mentioned as possibly available. That is the area reserved for the desperate clubs, who just have to grab somebody to satisfy their members that they are doing something. At our stage of development, we don't need to go after anyone who won't positively impact our list. That is a great position to be in. For example, the Cats got Ablett last year to top off their list and get them a flag, or so they thought. While he played well in games, he did not positively impact their list. Therefore, to me it was a failure, unless you are only looking at the publicity and a few more more memberships.

Jayden Hunt
Only needs one and that is better disposal. We have one hbf ready to finish and he is the replacement.

Jayden Hunt
Hunt will be back next year and his pace off half back or wing will be damaging.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
C’mon Ethan, break the story.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
First there are injuries so one or two of that group could be injured. Second it would not be impossible for that group to all play in the same team. Lever as the sweeper, with Frost a quick key back allows some variety.

Not to mention our bookend brothers, both picked at 53.

Well maybe GWS think Lobbe and Simpson are better and Cats think Abbott, Stanley and Smith are better. Maybe he likes red and blue colours.

What about if we are thinking of not playing Max in certain games to rest his body. For example he could miss Perth, NT and Qld games. Would help him to play longer and be fresher in the other games. Also we would get rid of rucks we think are not up to it, like King and Filipovic, if that is the case. He is a big brute of a boy.

Not saying you said it Moonie, it was in answer to those who did.

Those that said Weid was hopeless might be reconsidering. Hogan will be a star and hopefully in red and blue. Coping with Tom, Jesse and Weid will be hard for the opposition. We need to cherrypick the players that can improve us, not push away the ones that we can build a strong team on, for years to come. For example, we have a need for a second ruck and we are chasing Preuss to fill that gap. That will allow us to move on rucks like King and Filipovic, who may not be what we need.

He hasn't played a game all year. His value won't be too high.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
However, the Dockers also remain linked to injured Melbourne spearhead Jesse Hogan, 23, and are continuing to target WA players from rival clubs. "He (Hogan) would obviously fit that age bracket and that talent strategy to do it … it's not obviously easy, I'm sure Melbourne would have something to say about it and he would be contracted to Melbourne next year anyway," Bond said.
