Farewell Jesse Hogan
I think most people have compassion and empathy for Jesse and his situation, but obviously footballers are news as we all know and their lives and situations are media fodder. A story like him not playing again is big news and that is the business journos are in, so we don’t need to shoot the messenger, whether he is right or wrong, he is doing his job. I am sure he has heard something, as he wouldn’t just make up something that is totally wrong, as he would look a fool. Even Robbo in his article, said he may never play for Freo again, actually repeating the original piece, but then including a statement from Bell, who denied him leaving, but not that he might never play for them again. If Jesse retired, after a few days of headlines you wouldn’t hear his name mentioned again. Lastly, I personally feel very sorry for a kid who I thought could be the next Carey, with all he has and still is enduring. I hope he gets back to full health.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I am not a player, club, AFL Official or Manager, but no, er yes, er maybe, er I am not telling.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Irrespective of the Jessie situation, people need to understand that clubs lie, players lie, AFL officials lie and Managers lie. It is an art form in AFL football.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
First, let me wish Jesse well. Second, people need to understand that clubs do things that may seem wrong to people on the outside, because they generally have much more information than fans to base their decisions on. Third, constantly reverting to past decisions ( which I have also been guilty of, mainly to do with drafting) probably doesn’t assist in dealing with the present situation of a club.

TRAINING: Monday 27th January 2020
Absolute best thing for Harley will be when season starts and fans and media are not interested in him and he can just get on with it.

I love revisionists who try and change history. Martin did a deal with Carlton and then refused to talk to us. We never had a chance of getting him. Bennell did not cost us Martin.

Who takes the FP spot?
Has an exceptional ability to dispose of the ball quickly and therefore is the type of player who makes something from nothing. An accurate kick and a good mark are other assets. Agree with you DD that he does go missing for large periods of games and needs to stay involved. Obviously needs to get fit to be considered and that will be his big goal.

Harley Bennell Injury
No, but rather I think we will have promised him this year to get right. If he is no better by the end of the season, I am pretty confident he won't be with us in 2021.

Harley Bennell Injury
Correct.

He will be added to the list come what may, it is obviously a done deal. They are clearly going to give him this year to get it right.

Not sure we will know "shortly", it might be a while.
