  1. No in Caulfield or nearby suburbs.
  2. That seems more likely. Giants are getting a star player, who is getting back to his good, maybe not best form. They need him badly with Green nearly alone in the middle, with Kelly out for 2026 and Coniglio often out. I wonder if we get a player who isn’t a regular like Gruzewski and a pick we can use to maybe get another player, like Rogers in Tracc deal for Humphrey. How much we contribute could be a factor, but it would be extremely unlikely to be the rumoured amount. That was media speculation. Giants will also need some more cap room, with players coming in and I think only Aleer going that I know of atm, who isn’t on much with them and Ward retiring. We have a good relationship with Giants and a deal will be done, as will Tracc deal with Suns most importantly with Humphrey becoming a Demon. I am now expecting that deal to be done well before next wednesday probably after both clubs posture for a straight swap. I still think May will get done late, maybe to Roos for a nothing pick and us paying a small amount of his $800k to bring him down to say $600-700k for the one year left and maybe less if he signs for 2 years at less money. I have warned to Steele and would be happy to get him in Heath deal with Saints contributing a bit like us with May. Steele would be good for a couple of years to help replace Tracc and Clarry’s midfield contested possession work and he would be a good mentor as a solid citizen.
  3. Personally I will find it easier with Tracc and Oliver since they are leaving, going to Interstate clubs, as appears to be the case. You hear less about the smaller Interstate clubs than the big Victorian ones and when they are playing at the G, it’s usually in front of mostly Dees fans. It would be horrible having 80000 feral Pies fans cheering for Tracc or Oliver.
  4. The late Betty White. A very funny woman.
  5. In JT I trust, in you I believe.
  6. In other words an apology to Nick to calm down dad Peter.
  7. I will ring Tom Morris and find out.
  8. It would be with Heath thrown in and us walking away from most of the contract. Pies now chasing Clarry which helps us deal with Giants. I would give a bit more and try for Gruzewski, who is not getting a regular game with Hogan, Cadman, Riccardi and Brown, keeping him out and he is a Victorian. Giants bringing in a few players and Max might be trade able.
  9. Not impossible. Keeping 23 to trade for a F1 on second day of ND.
  10. Bit unfair to Dazzle Adam, yes he has his moments, as many of us do, but he is a fanatical Dee like most of us on DL and I am certain, would love nothing more than to see Humphrey in a Dee’s jumper, with a premiership medal around his neck.
  11. I could still see Roos on Wednesday taking him for a nothing pick and us paying a small amount.
  12. Well if true and he selects us it will be done, now that narrative from Coach has changed and you can see he is preparing the few supporters, that they are a great club, prepared to let a contracted player return to his family. Now if he selects another club, knowing that he can be traded for Petracca fairly easily, we have a major problem with perception of us by Players and Managers. Hopefully he is told by Suns it’s us to get Tracc deal done or he stays. Him choosing another club hurts the Suns.
  13. I think Luci may be right, that first pick second night of the draft is often quite valuable. We might be able to trade it with a likely low ladder team, for F1 2026 in stronger draft.
  14. The fact that Judd deal is being done now, puts any LJ hope to bed.
  15. For all those blasting TL, we offered 3 first round picks for Bombers 5 in 2022, to get Humphrey before Suns, who had 6 and then took him with that pick. Clearly TL and JT had identified How good Humphrey would be. Bombers kept 5 and took Tsatas. How is that refusal looking now? Weddle, Phillipou, Michalanny, Jye Clark, Hewett, MacKenzie, Ginbey, Darcy Jones and other good players were taken later. Bombers could have got a couple or more by pick trading.
  16. The Cats clearly don’t have a no DH policy.
  17. Well it is, as if they gave us 12 they would have 33 and now they get Judd and have 19. They will see that as a big win.
  18. As opposed to a retained one.
  19. They didn’t, he was never saying he was leaving until the day he left. Had the club changing the contract multiple times. Now you can understand why they are so upset. Pretty ordinary behaviour from Judd and his Manager.
  20. Where is the media condemnation of the Giants for this behaviour? Disgraceful playing with a guy’s life, who is trying to support a family. I wonder why we have gone off him.
  21. Is that defamatory? Could have worded the same thing differently.
  22. I think Roos will come late, ask us to pay a bit and we get a nothing pick.
  23. Expected suitors not coming forward.
  24. You mean the one after don’t you?
  25. Of course. That is the deal or no deal. We are not taking 38. We can do a deal with WC then, to send him to the PSD, by say clearing Woey to them for a pick,
