Farewell Judd McVee
I believe you and can’t see why he would volunteer a lie to a supremely dedicated Demon fan. I am sewing number 4 onto my Dees shirt.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Think you nailed it. Lot of back scratching.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
As Tom Morris said ”Every Club Leaks”.

What's Collingwood ever done for Melbourne?
And yours truly was Team Manager that year and the above is true. Really liked Henry and he was a nice guy and at 170 cms pretty brave to take on the 194 cm Captain Coach. At training one day he offered to show me the difference between VFL players and ammo’s. I am 175 cms and had a small height advantage. Henry stood with me and Phil Carman about 40 metres away. Phil would kick it to me and no matter where I led or whatever I did, I couldn’t get a fingernail on the ball. Henry just bodied me out of every single contest. Carman was killing himself laughing. It gave me a new respect for the players as to how brilliant they were.

TRAINING: Tuesday 12th August 2025
That is understandable. I look forward to his debut next year, bigger and stronger.

Brad Green and the current board
Caro said our sacking of Goodwin was messy and Carlton was good in keeping Voss. Sam McLure on footy classified said Graham Wright offered the Carlton job to a couple of senior coaches who declined and he then told the Board to keep Voss for the time being. Is that messy?

PREGAME: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
Despite the obvious different ladder postions and form this season, we are at a huge disadvantage this week, with the Hawks having 3 extra days between games. That is a ridiculous advantage to have.

May to Tribunal
If it benefits the Pies in the finals, get some tomato sauce to pour on your hat, to make it tastier.

May to Tribunal
Especially if it will benefit the Pies in the finals.

May to Tribunal
There is absolutely no doubt that different teams and especially certain players, are treated differently by the MRO, Tribunal and the Media.
-
May to Tribunal
Neither does David King. Said May should get 6 weeks and Newcombe no case to answer, as it was an accident. Howe knocked out cold and as Gleeson said to May, you had plenty of time to avoid the collision which the reasonable player would do. Can’t wait to see what the MRO does.

Training Ground?
I hope you won’t crucify me if I am wrong. Little missing comma joke.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
I think On the Couch on Fox Footy will have a new member in 2026, with that person sitting next to Jono Brown.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
We have a number of on field and off field issues atm and that screams experienced Coach needed to me. We need a cool head who has the experience to deal with all of our issues. We need an astute footy tactician. We need a confident media performer who is liked by the media. We need someone who can give this 100% and not be distracted by a young family’s needs. We need someone who the players will respect and listen to. The fact one candidate was a Dee’s supporter is irrelevant, but doesn’t hurt with motivation and care. We need a candidate who will not be scared of making a mistake, losing his job and his only future source of income. One candidate is the obvious one on my criteria. Of course with different criteria it could be someone else. However, I think our Coach, fitting the above criteria, will be announced before the finals.

Training Ground?
As I said a year or so ago, Caulfield will happen and we will end up with the best facilities in the AFL. That will finally help recruiting too.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
I have no idea who we will appoint, but I think given the changes off field and the changes needed on field and with an aging list, we will go at this time for an experienced Coach. If forced to guess, I think it could be Buckley, given his language and that of Longmire and Simpson on the issue. Buckley is a savvy media person now and has basically said we are a club that is a compelling choice for him to Coach and I just feel he wouldn’t use that language, unless he knew something, as otherwise he could look like a rejected applicant, which wouldn’t help future chances. His language could have been very different, but he chose to publicly put himself up for the position. So my guess is Buckley, who should have the respect of the list if he gets the job.

Langdon's 200th
Congratulations Ed, hope you have a great 200th and keep playing well, through to 250 and beyond in a couple of years.

Media Madness
The articles on us atm are generally click bait garbage, where they contradict themselves paragraph after paragraph. Most are theories and opinions with no factual basis. In other words the usual standard of footy journalism.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Well he would feel right at home at Caulfield, as we are looking at taking up the ex Freedman Racing Stables. It might turn a neigh into a yay.

2025 MRO & Tribunal
Liam Ryan ran at Rivers late, jumped into him and clashed heads. Rivers went off injured and bleeding from a head wound and Ryan not even cited. After the May decision, how is that even possible?
