I have always liked JJ and was one of the first to push him up. I laughed at those that wanted him delisted. The same with Hunt. Given that though maybe I see him differently and am not acknowledging his shortcomings, which of course every sportsman has. I will rewatch the game and concentrate on JJ and see if I pick up something I have missed.

Agree with your first paragraph. There seems to be only one plan, long bombs to the left forward pocket. Tracc was right it was a shank. I thought Lever was poor and actually cost us 3 goals. We had a lot of players down and still won, that's good.

But that means they play finals. Surely you want them out.

Seriously? Spargo had 4 disposals. ANB a nothing game again. JJ was fine. I would bring in Harmes for ANB. Somehow we need another tall forward but we are bereft. Would also like to see Bowey back. Not sure how we do it.

Really, he was their best player. 17 handballs to advantage, 26 possies and 12 tackles. Just about every forward thrust was started by him. Without him we would have won more convincingly.

He also gave Kozzie the ball for the winning kick. He actually could have had 7. Missed 2 and was robbed of a mark late in the game 30 out.

Correct. And our last F50 entry we turned over as usual, we had a guy on his own screaming for it 30 out and ignored.

I can’t stand our coaching anymore. Even if we win this, bombing long to small forwards like Spargo, with McGovern on him is bloody madness. Kick it low or wide to space. We don’t adapt to our selected side at all. Our handball turnovers must be a world record. Our disposal is garbage. We are not a shadow of last year’s side the way we are playing.

I know I am the eternal pessimist, but it feels like our season has been in slow freefall since round 10. Would be nice to string 5 wins together to finish it off.
