I am not as confident as you, as I would imagine Freo would be in his ear now, about a return home to them. However, if he rises to above our first pick, that makes another good player available at our pick. I like the look of Mattaes, Jefferson who I am not as enamoured with, could be our needs pick, or another talented mid maybe and then 37 to come and maybe even Emile-Brennan as a rookie. Whatever happens at the draft, we will have a better list than last year. I have said it before, a good run with injuries should see us contending again.

These things are probably click bait at best. Funnily Cornes said we were second behind Geelong. If you analyse it, you would say Grundy is a better player than LJ atm, Hunter is better than anyone we lost and we got him for a steal, Schache who is bigger and more versatile than Weid, cost nothing and replaces Weid, who got us 37. We also added 2 first round picks. Not sure how that ends in a D+, but then again, who cares?

I must be missing one: Wallis, Hunter, Cordy and Dunkley who is not a Dogs father/son. Who is the fifth one? They have three left Libba, West and Darcy.
