The youngest most inexperienced side
I posted this in April 2016. Last weekend we fielded the second youngest and inexperienced side in the comp. Average age 24.3 and 68 games. 17 of our starting 22 had played less than 100 games and more than 1/4 under 10. collingwood fielded a team with an average age of 27 and 120 games. These are the facts and a major reason why we are where we are.

Sack everyone (mega-thread)
There is a place for a manic style play but not 100% of the time. Richmond are able to control the pace

2020 starts now ?
Itâs clear Goodwin has no idea what to do. The game plan from last year has been picked apart by the opposition and the players canât implement what he wants. This manic hand pass game has to stop. Hawthorn won 3 premierships in a row by chipping the ball around by foot at the G. Why couldnât we mimic their game style? We need to action what Collingwood and richmond did with their assistant coaches. Clear the decks and get new ideas into the club. Im still in shock that the season is over in April

Goodwin signs on until end of 2022
Totally agree. Goodwin needs new ideas. His game plan has been exposed. Essentially all the experience he has had is at a rabble at Essendon and under roos who was more about culture than game style. This year is a write off. All we can hope for is a richmond style clean out

Lose by 100??? You have no idea what you are talking about

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs Port Adelaide
Maybe I should list the side that played 3 years ago for your comparison. Itâs chalk and cheese. We are essentially 2 players off full strength

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs Port Adelaide
4 debutants!!! We will win by 80

Opposition Watch: Rd 1 vs Port Adelaide
Dees are unbackable favorites at $1.3. Under Roos/Goody we have been strong against port. They have difficulty containing our contested style. We dominated them last year and narrowly lost at Port. Their top 6 contested possession winners from that game were wines, Polec, Rockcliff, Pittard, Jonas and Wingard of which 4 wont be playing. That same group also had 60 contested possessions. Who from port could possibly make up those number??? If we are on we will bury them.

POSTGAME: JLT 02 vs Brisbane
Our game plan doesnât allow has to change gears. Itâs all or nothing. The plan is to win contested possession and for that you need to be at 100%. Itâs a glaring issue with our style. The reason hawthorn are so good is that if they want to slow things down they play keepings off by foot. This tires the opposition at which point they turn it on for a 5-10 minute period.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Massive risk that they will never get him. He might play at dees in 2019 and want to finish what he started. West coast might trump freo in 2019 with a higher offer. Freo would be crazy to leave those options on the table

Opposition Watch: Elimination Final
âZac Smith had his colours lowered and did little to suggest he will dislodge Ryan Abbott from the No.1 ruck spot for Friday night's AFL elimination final. Esava Ratugolea played more minutes in his second game back from a three-month layoff but had little impact playing between attack and ruck.â

Key tactical issues v Geelong
Harmes will play on dangergield. Selwood is cooked. Doesnât have as much impact anymore.

How far will we get?
I think we can beat geelong however hawthorn will dismantle our game plan...

Champion Data Must be High
How will our % come in to the equation. At this stage 13 wins and a % of over 115% is a certainty

BRETT RATTEN
He is a must have appointment. Might be the best Decision the club has ever made. knows the clarkson game plan back to front. If he can shed some light to the staff and players of how the best coach of all time operates then that is an asset.

Champion Data Must be High
So you are expecting port to lose last game against the Essendon?
