  1. Kicks the ball out on the full 40m out directly in front... not AFL standard
  2. You can’t compare sports wagering and the pokies. The pokies are essentially programmed that you can’t beat the house. Sports wagering is a skill dependent on an ability to pick winners. The house just takes a % of the spread.
  3. Supporters have an expectation that the club is ruthless on and off the field. Mediocracy hasn’t got us far for the last 60 years
  4. And pick up a player that doesn’t want to join your club and on top of that suddenly come up with $800k on a maxed out salary cap. No chance
  5. There is talk that Melbourne are considering giving up 1st pick for 2017 and 2018. If we agree to Adelaide’s demands then it shows that our recruiting department have no idea. Grow some balls, stick by your original plan and make Adelaide sweat that lever will walk away for nothing. As it stands at the moment lever isn’t even in your top ten best players... only a top 10 player in the whole league is worth 2 first picks
  6. Adelaide are in no position to negotiate. Either take what Melbourne gives you or the kid walks into the draft and Melbourne get him for free. Trelor was worth 2 first rounders. Lever is no where near trelor. Giving Crows 1st and 2nd round picks imo is still overs.
  7. I'm glad you aren't negotiating for the dees. wont take more than pick 10 and swap of 2nd round picks
  8. Pick 10 will do the deal for lever. No way will Melbourne give up watts or Salem as well.
  9. Pick 10 for lever is plenty. At worst pick 10 and swap of 2nd round picks will suffice. No way will dees throw in either watts and Salem + pick 10
  10. Pick 10 will suffice in the lever deal. Stop wasting time trying to think what additional players we will need to throw in.

Came 6th in the AFL coaches award. Amazing result. Also voted best young player by the AFL coaches association. almost double the amount of votes from second. (Menegola) will be a star
  12. Jarred rivers was also a great intercept mark... overrated
  13. They are 100% correct. The manic pressure that they need isn't sustainable. Not sure why we can't replicate clarksons game plan that has won them 4 premierships. Get the players foot skills up to a higher standard and play keeping off. No need to recreate the wheel
  14. Dees aren't going to give up overs for this kid. Tom Mitchell was traded for pick 14, omeara pick 10 and 2018 second round, hibberd pick 29, Lachie Henderson future first round pick, Prestia pick 6. lever isn't better than any of the above. melbournes first round pick this year should do the deal and at worst 2nd round next year. im glad some of the posters here are not deciding the future of the club.

Should poll in the top 10. Might even make top 5
  16. The best teams have 100 point + wins 2-3 times a year. If we want to be the best then this is the new expectation. I think this will come with time when our current core players hit 150 games and 25-26 years age. Might be 2-3 years off from this.
  17. Lever has had 1 good year. Future AA and captain are all unknowns. No club has ever offered more than a 1st round and late pick for a player like lever.
  18. 2 first rounds??? You have to be joking. He has only had 1 good year and plays as a 3rd tall back. Gary Albett went on 2 first rounds. Worth a pick in top 10 and a late 40's pick.

Gray had a terrible 1st qtr and wasn't at all influential in the last. In such a dominant performance the 1 vote should go to the winning team. Take your pick of viney, Oliver, Tyson and even hunt.

What a one eyed piece of %#^* Triple m should sack him from their panel ive just gone onto twitter to give him an earful. Everyone should do the same
  21. Haven't won 4 in a row since 2006.
  22. I've actually spoken to an assistant coach at the club and he tells me that Lewis has taken both watts and Oliver under his wing and he credits both of their improvement this year to his work in the back ground. Thankfully TGR plays absolutely no part in our FD.
  23. Good point. He has also just turned 31. Mathew Boyd, Robert murphy and Dale Morris turn 35 this year. Andrew Mackie 33.
  24. "Unlike Joeboy, I didn't have the luxury of sitting back, assessing his whole game, reflect, ring Finey then type like a warrior." You seem to have plenty of time sitting on this forum goading melbourne supporters.
