How did PA get Aliir, geee wiz they’ll be hard to stop. God I hope they [censored] ESS!

1-0 under siege Goodwin hahhahaha nice DS

As long as Demetriou is not involved with Torrens then it’s another big win for the club! Well done team.

Darcy Moore might be a chance.

Seeing the Carl Ditterich thread and watching some of his highlights and hearing him say “you were blooded at a young age”. Him saying players of his ilk going through brain issues and how they seaport each other. I’m glad that thuggery has gone out of the game. I used to love that stuff, but at an early 40s with 2 kids 5 and under I’m so happy they don’t have to deal with that rubbish any more. Will contact sports survive is the big question, Rugby is under huge pressure and has take a very conservative approach. AFL, Rugba League, NFL, Ice Hockey... all players have a duty of care that was not around not too long ago and thank goodness. Bumping was a “beautiful” part of our game. RIP.

Rnd 1, hot weather, fatigue, he’s been here a short time etc etc. Give it time and it will prevail, unless our players are not listening to him.

Hammer them Mark, bloody hammer that message home each and every single day you are a Dees man. https://www.sen.com.au/news/2021/03/23/how-choco-williams-is-demanding-perfection-at-melbourne/

Or Viney after he was reported for tackling Dangerdiver in 2011.
-
How’s he saying he felt like he was on trial for murder, the bloke has zero self awareness and he is the president of the players lol. Imagine being a [censored] kicker and him swaggering to represent you with zero experience in your shoes. F l o g
-
It’s not, if it was Vanders doing the bumping it would be 4-6 weeks. The histrionics put out this week by Dangerdiver and his crew has been disconcerting.
-
Hahhahaha embarrassing

We don't need foot speed, we need to be better by hand and foot hitting targets moving forward. If we turn it over like we did at stages on the weekend then all the foot speed in the world will do sweet f all. Clean things up a bit and we are right in the game.

You tackle or corral using your arms, not your arm tucked in for a shoulder charge.

As much pressure as the pray room at Parliament House in Canberra?
-
I don't think Campbell Brown would try his rubbish on Maysie now a days.
-
The positive for us is if we can keep Lever and May healthy and the add Gawn who can push back to intercept is we can hopefully stem the flow when needed rather than using stoppages but as others have said it’s a 1 rnd sample size coming out of a shortened season with shortened games with less rotations. There is the fatigue factor as well which is one to watch but he’s to quantify.

Andrew Brayshaw, the better Brayshaw?
-
He had a choice to tackle... what a guy.
-
I’ve made it know I don’t like dangerdiver and this just confirms my distaste even more. He even swan dived after the incident, embarrassing and for a guy who spouts off on player safety he did a very poor interpretation of trying to protect old mate.
-
? Yeap Goodwin just sits like a robot during a win? Lol
-
I “went” with 2 mates, I had to sit in one bay while they sat in a totally different bay because we couldn’t book seats next to each other. Agree that part was a debacle, I did end up sitting next to them in a bar After half time because security was so lax. Funniest part was the boys told me to wear shirt, jeans, jacket for dress code, they both rolled up in shorts and T-shirts... we were drinking in Medallion Club bar... go figure.
-
I hope you told them they are being a little silly, pandemic processes etc. “oh my god why would I go and support my team when I can’t sit in “my seats””?! Ffs

The local bowls crowd, right in our membership wheelhouse.

Being there it felt larger than 21k but agree I was so disappointed to see that number especially after hearing Pert on the Dland podcast saying they hoped for 27k. The other thing of note from Pert was saying they need members/fans to support the club even more now to help cover the losses to the balance sheet from last season. The money from the sale of the pokies was great and invested to provided ongoing returns, but they had to dip into that last year and he basically said they have no other income stream to cover it besides investing it and members signing up to get to 75k members.
