We've been very very lucky injury wise this year so would be happy for him to see out his contract, knowing he will have limited opportunities but provides a good fall back if needed and leadership. In saying that I like that the club is not hiding from these kinds of things and is open with the players. Even with regional Vic out of lockdown venues are severely limited. I know a lot of places up our way in the Macedon Ranges haven't reopened to sit down/in venue service. Only 10 people inside and 20 outside is not worth it. In saying that I'm hoping to get a table at a local pub for dinner with the family, not sure if I will let my amazing wife take the kids home and leave me there or I'll go home and watch it. Maybe set up the TV/speakers on the back deck and be as loud as I want. PS the night element of it bloody sucks, I was really hoping to enjoy the afternoon with the kids running around the back yard but they'll be in bed by end of the first qrt at the latest.

I’ve been thinking about Burgo a lot recently, I’ve got two chiclets under soon to be 6 and couldn’t imagine not being near them for any length of time. After the last couple of seasons, it would take a lot for one to not want to be living right near them every day of the week. He’s given a lot of himself for the MFC cause and if he goes, he goes with my heart felt thanks and hope that he gets to be a key feature in the little ones lives. I’d be amazed if he and the club could find a way.

Easy money Frank would have said, “Lingy, trust me mate, I’ve got your back… just sign here”. Chook it’s finding the balance and doing your research/finding good people to bring around you/give you advice. I’ve got mates who all they do is look for deals and do very well out of it. I’m pretty conservative only because I know my limitations and not willing to invest that time to learn/or not smart enough lol.
