Great to see Tomlinson running around as well. He will really push the other defenders to get a game this season... nice to have.

Impressive guys those two (Bruckner as well), he’s a massive loss, he’s so measured and assured based on his and the team around him set up of process and procedure. Something that stood out was his noting the funding ripped out of footy depts last year and how people were just turfed and or had huge pay cuts thrust upon them. Amazing time we are living through.

Jacko is the type of player you would try to sign on a 10 year deal. His management wouldn’t be silly enough to do that but he has the potential to be something else and has already shown us some flashes of it. How funny would it be for Gawn to end up being the ruck who starts/plays most of the time in the fwd 50, giving the occasional chop out to Jackson in a couple of years. Maxi kicking goals at a really high % too.

His performance on the radio was amazing in the context of where the Hawks ended up, he clearly has always had an agenda against Clarkson. The fact Clarkson is on record as saying he is consulting for a potential Tasmanian team and would coach them (if unemployed at the time) I think is telling.
