I hadn't thought about that but someone raised in on here recently, seems like a great solution. Have him based in Adeialde but fly in/fly out every week or 2 for a week. He does seem like he gives a lot of game day as well though (seeing him speaking to Goody during the game on Sat was interesting) so it might not be feasible. Maybe is he is overseeing someone else? Was it Pert who said they were grooming an understudy internally if he does leave?

Hahaha was just going to post this one, what a brilliant insight. Simon Goodwin is a really interesting human being (aren’t we all?). He was in tears before the game, laying on the bed crying because of how far “we’ve come”. Tracc saying we’re the fittest team in the comp (don’t leave Burgo). Goody in saying how he did struggle last year and needed new guidance/mentors.

Great to see “Woowee” (Woey) back embracing it in his 2000 GF jumper, still looks fit. The great man, the mystery man, Allen Jakovich , the shooting star. That really brought a tear to my eye. Dad and I loved and bonded over Jaka and then he just vanished, so happy to see him back in love with the club.

That is the one person i missed, kudos to the heathens in BT and Brayshaw who, as others have mentioned, deferred to her often and towards the end asked her how she was going as it was her club… she’s said it’s not my club it’s Garry Lyon etc club. This one really gets me in the feels, reminds me of walking to the footy with the old man, he resplendent in Dees merch from head to toe. Love ya dad, miss you and heading along to the G, Waverley, Kardinia park and the grounds in between.

I signed up in ‘08 to keep a link to footy and the Dees while living in London. Man what a ride it’s been. I hope a heap who had jumped off the Dees over the years have been lurking on here again and do come back to post in the excitement of today (not Rangey…).
