He walks on water in the pool?
  2. Good teams win the close ones. Four points is four points is four points.
  3. Of course not. That was his driver's job.
  4. If we keep it tight we won't loose.

Let's put it behind us. I'm sure that you can conjure up many more fine posts in the future.

A conger pictured earlier today. They're more commonly associated with NRL team Parramatta.
  7. I'd reconsider those brekky bongs if I were you.
  8. Congratulations to Mitch and his lovely partner on their engagement.
  9. Is Blake Howes this week's mystery injury?
  10. I'm reminded of one of Jack Dyer's memorable comments (about Melbourne's own Lally Bamblett): "Bamblett made a great debut last week and an even better one today".
  11. Grundy was named in the squad last week IIRC. Pretty sure he'll be playing at Casey.

Goodwin literally said he was looking for each ruckmen to go forward for ten minutes per quarter.
  13. The knock on him is what he does with the footy. Averaging 27.3 disposals.
  14. Worst keeper since Jonny Bairstow.
  15. I always imagined Kynan's name would be pronounced as written ("Ki-nan") but I heard him called "Keenan" somewhere just recently. Can anybody confirm the correct way to say it?
  16. Cut him lose, you reckon?
  17. I think Ed Langdon would qualify for Lew's spot.
  18. Apart from the unfortunate Geelong connotation, I've always known "cat" to be a derogatory term when it is used to describe a footballer.
  19. I'd like to get the opinion of @The Lobster Effect on this issue.
  20. One of the grounds I played on in junior footy was literally a paddock with goal posts at each end. We had to shoo the sheep off the ground before we could start the game, but evidence of their existence was obvious wherever you looked. The coach didn't need to remind us to keep our feet when we played there.

One of the better ones for sure, but I think it's "shake down the thunder from the sky" (excellent line it is, too).
  22. Please post the reveal and put us out of our misery, @Timothy Reddan-A'Blew!
  23. Paging @Clintosaurus!
  24. Simon and Garfunkel, surely? From 'The Sounds Of Silence'. edit: Snap @Redleg!
  25. I prefer "Budget Nadal".
