We also won the night flag in 1989 by beating Geelong in the final.

Jordan Lewis is NOT cooked, give him 1 more season.
Lewis doesn't want one more year does he? He's already said he will be retiring at the end of the season. Moot discussion.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KYSAIAH KROPINYERI PICKETT
I'd probably go with "Pick - Et".

Insane record from 1955 to 1960
Pretty sure that Ian Ridley was recruited from Hamilton Imperials which were in the same league. Portlanders who played for Melbourne were Stewart Spencer and Clyde Laidlaw, both stars of the 1950s.

The AFL wants to reduce tackling
You'll be pleased to know that I'm doing my bit ... I don't spend my money at any of those establishments.

The Final Quarter
That was the first time I'd ever heard him speak. Does he always sound like he's spent the arvo in the pub?

Injury List - Season 2019
Fremantle are privately blaming Dave Misson.

Insane record from 1955 to 1960
Other clubs and their zones were: Carlton - Bendigo Essendon - Wimmera (Horsham etc) Fitzroy - Hampden (Warrnambool etc) Footscray - LaTrobe Valley (Gippsland) Geelong - Geelong area Hawthorn - Mornington Peninsula North Melbourne - Ovens & Murray (Albury etc) Richmond - Sunraysia (Mildura etc) South Melbourne - Riverina St Kilda - Ballarat EDIT: I think clubs also had a metro zone each, ours being the Bentleigh area from whence we picked up a skinny kid called Robert Flower. Collingwood had the Diamond Valley and Carlton had the Northern Suburbs, both of which were laden with good footballers.

Insane record from 1955 to 1960
Our zone was the Goulburn Valley - ie. Shepparton and surrounding districts. I grew up in Portland. Imagine my horror when that zone (Western Border, which included Hamilton) was allocated to flamin" Collingwood! They never did too well out of it though, with the notable exception of Billy Picken.

Injury List - Season 2019
I'm not interested in a witch hunt. I just want to know who's responsible!

Where the Fritsch?
Well Roy, we are cellar dwellers at the moment so it is kind of appropriate.

Bryce Gibbs
It also doesn't show that Cale realised we had won possession of the ball, ran forward to make position, received the pass and kicked it to one of our forwards who duly converted for goal. Not saying Cale was a tough man, but this clip misrepresents what actually happened in that piece of play.

Yep, that's Demonland for you!

Casey Demons v Box Hill Hawks - Round 13
Things do tend to disappear when you swallow. If you mean Sparrow, he's injured.

Will Gould (Drafted by Sydney)
Not as dirty as Far Kew though.

1987 Foster's Cup Vancouver
I distinctly remember this! It wasn't at the game, but a day or two earlier as part of the pre-game publicity. Ironmonger was sitting on a kerb holding a hunk of raw meat - not sure if he actually ate any of it but it was obviously a stunt to try to drum up interest in the game. EDIT This was the 1987 game in Vancouver.

The Mystery of Aaron Vandenberg
So who will the new whipping boy be with Misson gone? What poor sod will cop the blame for everything that goes wrong?
