Low Attendance
If you're considering eating at the footy, please be aware that it's just taking up valuable beer space in your tummy.

Demonstone's Bye Bye Baby Brain Baffler
If anybody's wondering about the Tom Gillies clue, he was said by his team mates to resemble a criminal and earned the nicknames "Crim" and "Homicide". I did say it was obscure!

Demonstone's Bye Bye Baby Brain Baffler
3183 Dee has come up with the correct answer and takes home the bronze. So we can all get some sleep tonight, I can reveal that all the players in my team share a surname with a well known criminal, both Australian and overseas. Thanks for your interest and those who played. It's been a busy night of PMs. I'll put up my other teaser on Sunday afternoon when there is very little happening football wise.

I too am surprised by Luci's apparent absence and also that of Mazer Rackham, a perennial winner. I'll PM the answer to you so that you may get some sleep tonight, mate.

NON-MFC: Round 14, 2022
Has anybody else noticed this fascination that Channel 7 has with featuring a close-up of the player who just kicked a goal shouting his celebration in such slow motion so that it looks like he is trying to catch flies with his mouth?

Demonstone's Bye Bye Baby Brain Baffler
I'm sure you'll appreciate that this brainteaser was not compiled just for you. With a medal still up for grabs, I'm not going to give the answer away just yet.

Demonstone's Bye Bye Baby Brain Baffler
Another clue, which could be fairly described as obscure. Tom Gillies.

Demonstone's Bye Bye Baby Brain Baffler
I'll give you two since you asked so persuasively: 1. Nothing to do with football 2. Not related to the names of dogs and cats I've owned

Demonstone's Bye Bye Baby Brain Baffler
Well done to reynolds46 who has cracked it and therefore wins silver.

Demonstone's Bye Bye Baby Brain Baffler
We have a winner! Congratulation to mo64 who has snagged first prize. Another suggestion can be eliminated - the answer has nothing to do with Western Australia. Silver and bronze still up for grabs.

Demonstone's Bye Bye Baby Brain Baffler
A couple of more responses have been received, but I can inform everybody that they are not all songwriters, nor does the thread title have anything to do with the answer.

Demonstone's Bye Bye Baby Brain Baffler
Over 50 views and only one poster brave enough to have a go so far. Alas for said intrepid Demonlander, the answer is not that they form double acts in showbiz.

Demonstone's Bye Bye Baby Brain Baffler
Here we go ladies and germs, back for a short time only and by popular demand (Lucifer's Hero demanded it and she IS very popular), it's another timewaster. For those who came in late, your challenge is to identify what the players in this team, who are named in position, have in common. If you think you know the solution, please send it to me in a PM so I can drag this out for as long as possible. Incorrect answers, other helpful information and clues (not guaranteed) will be posted as I see fit. Prizes will awarded as follows: First: What Paddy shot at mo64 Second: Not a sausage reynolds46 Third: Bugger-all 3183 Dee B: Mark McVeigh Robbie Tarrant Nick Maxwell H/B: Phil Read Peter Foster Paul Wheatley C: Simon Atkins Greg Williams Paul Kelly H/F: Luke Parker Oscar Allen Farren Ray F: Liam Ryan Barry Hall Bailey Smith R: Mark Lee Scott West Nathan Jones I/C: Max Walker Michael Barlow Lewis Taylor Chris Bond

CHANGES: Rd 15 vs Brisbane
Turner out for a month with facial fracture/s, alas. Tomlinson wasn't in the team so can't be an "out". He might even be an inclusion.

Jack Watts on Jason Horne-Francis
Although his step-father Fabian played one game for us, I doubt he'll go anywhere but Adelaide (the city).

2022 Injury List
We have more. Gawn, McDonald, Turner, Smith and Howes that we know about. Queries over Melksham, Rosman and Daw according to other posters.

Low Attendance
I've come up with a couple of new ones, the first of which will appear latish tomorrow afternoon, which is the time our attention is usually focussed on team selection for the weekend's game.

Max's injury might be a window for Daw.

CHANGES: Rd 15 vs Brisbane
Isn't it a 10 day "break" before we play Brisbane? If Saturday to Saturday is a 7 day break (6 days off and play on the 7th) and Saturday to Friday is a 6 day break (5 days off and play on the 6th), surely Monday to Thursday week is 10 days (9 days off and play on the 10th).

The Road Back to Success -June 2022
All this talk about changes to the team and moving players into different positions. I dunno. Maybe it's all just mental and the boys need to do something positive and find a way to bond again, possibly by all going out together as a team and sitting down for a nice meal at a fancy restaurant.

CHANGES: Rd 15 vs Brisbane
46 goals in 120 games. Yep, he'd be a natural up forward.

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
I'm sorry to inform you that things will only get worse over the next week or so. I've got a couple of new brainteasers to unleash during the bye round.

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Smith may as well not been on the ground. Didn't get a single touch.
