GAMEDAY: Rd 02 vs North Melbourne
If there’s any such thing as a creditable loss in the AFL, last week was it ……. BUT there will be no room for faint praise this week. A win is an absolute must! Fortunately, we seem to have the tools to beat them, or at least break even, in most parts of the ground. After an even first half, I expect us to prove the nay sayers wrong, and win emphatically. Dees by 54.

PODCAST: Rd 01 vs GWS
Welcome back guys. As always, I’m really looking forward to tonight’s Pod. My question: I understand the logic behind playing Fritta further up the ground, but I’m not sure we can afford to play our best goal kicker away from the goals. I’d love to hear your views on the long term prospects of this move please. Thanks.

VOTES: Rd 01 vs GWS
A good even team performance, which was great to see. 6. Gawn - outstanding, as always 5. Lever - a ‘rock’ in defence 4. Petracca - still bleeds red & blue 3. Salem - injury free, and showed why we’ve missed him 2. T.Mac - seamless late addition 1. Petty - back where he belongs * Bowey unlucky to miss out. ** Plaudits to all our debutants, lead by Lindsay ⭐️ The early signs are very promising!

GAMEDAY: Rd 01 vs GWS
So the new season begins, with six fresh faces wearing our beloved red and blue. I don’t quite know what to expect today, but I do know that my excitement and nervous tension is akin to what it would be if we were playing in September. Just give it everything Dees, and make us (and Jimmy) proud! ❤️💙

No round one preview pod this week
As an interstate member, Demonland, and it’s much celebrated Pod, are my lifelines to the AFL and our beloved Dees.

I love the HU - Wolf Totem! Imagine 50,000 mad Dees fans chanting HU HU HU HU at the G on KB. Enough to make Maynard poo his pants!

GAMEDAY: Practice Match vs Fremantle
I’m really looking forward to this game. It will be a great opportunity for our boys to shed some of the inevitable early season rust, and it should give us supporters some genuine insights into the Dees of 2025. No injuries is, of course, an imperative! Unlike some Demonlanders who have said that the scoreboard is unimportant, I really want a win. Beating a quality side on the road, will be the perfect builder of confidence and self belief to kick start the new season. Go Dees! ❤️ 💙

Welcome to Demonland: Jai Culley
Good on him. I hope he becomes a Premiership player with us!

URGENT ATTENTION: New Software Will Necessitate New Login Requirement
I couldn’t agree more LDC. It’s far too easy to take this wonderful site for granted, and to ignore the enormous effort that it takes by a plethora of people, to keep it up and going. As an interstate member, Demonland is my lifeline to the real world of the MFC and the AFL.

Gawn & Viney named Captain & VC in 2025
Perfect choices! Both bring very different but outstanding attributes to the role of leadership. They complement each other extremely well.

Welcome to Demonland: Jai Culley
Without seeing any of our recruits live, I’m going to stick my neck out, and say that our recruiters have done an outstanding job this off season. Jai is just the latest of a great bunch! ❤️💙

PODCAST: Match SIM vs North Melbourne
Love the return of the Pod guys. I hope you are all refreshed, and ready to go, in a year that will tell us a great deal about our ‘new look’ Dees. I thought there were plenty of positives to take away from the Match Sim vs North, but perhaps the greatest of all, was the competition we seem likely to have for senior spots, across all lines. To me, the scope seems very much greater than it did last year. What do the Panel think (?) and how crucial will it be to our chances in 2025?
