  1. Ditto from this MFC reserved seating member in Bangkok but if there's any interest I'm happy to post on the Bangkok Tigers who train just down the road from me
  2. From my limited YT armchair it appears his kicking is more a result of a so so footy IQ, a long long way off Langford and Lindsay in that space. He's strong overhead with good wheels and strength. He doesn't mind using his left peg too although one horrendous turnover
  3. Interesting one is Adams Got some good athletic attributes in his quick and moves well. He'll take a good contested mark then the next 2 contests gets pushed off the ball like a schoolboy, same with is kicking, laser's a beauty then next 2 go to no mans land. Having said that he improved 2nd half of last season
  4. Love him and can't wait to see him back. Tough, quick like Michael Hibberd and really good 1 on 1 who plays above his height like Neville Jetta
  5. Could do so much well, such a pity his foot skills are so far off the mark
  6. I was very surprised to see him delisted and curious what the footy dept didn't see in him; speed? endurance? attitude? With elite foot skills at all distances, strong overhead and good footy IQ I felt he had significantly more to offer than some still on the list. Along with Mentha and Kentfield he formed 3 uncapped players I was very excited about
  7. I was VERY impressed with Derkson's game when they played Casey earlier this year. He was a dominant force in their backline and gave JVR a touch up
  8. Happy to see this. Was quietly impressed with his game against Essendon. Strong overhead and good by foot
  9. Walsh was not exactly quick either but his side step and evasive skills well compensated for that
  10. Kozzie struck me as quiet but very confident A great show. Loved all the interviews and hubahuba, how good a player was Steven Michael!!
  11. Absolutely. Check out Sparg's involvement in the chain for Kossie's goal Petty handballed him, his footy IQ is off the charts, Sam Mitchell-esq (My favourite non Demon)
  12. Surprised no one seems to have said it already but XL would have to be favorite for the rising star nomination after that outstanding debut. Did he make a skill or decision error all game? I was impressed with Jeffo too. He competed well, was defensively sound and got good wheels. Hendo showed a bit too. I suspect he'll be playing a lot of senior football this year
  13. My thoughts too
  14. Wow! Got some moves, looks like the game's in slow motion for him. Just as happy to go left or right foot although kicking looks a bit iffy but hope we get him. Some serious looking upside there
  15. Hardness on steroids by those highlights. Love him!
  16. The last early selection I fixated on we took the player I wanted. I was ecstatic! He'll turn our fortunes around I thought. His name was Jimmy Toumpas
  17. To go with the sticky hands his foot skills are elite
  18. He's a beauty. Good wheels too
  19. I also reckon his field kicking has improved a bit the last couple of years
  20. Watching him this year I was seriously impressed with some of his tools. Excellent kick at all distances. Very strong thru the core, a good overhead mark and makes good decisions with ball in hand
  21. Despite living in Bangkok and wimping out (as I have for every match this year) I still take out a premium membership so my seat was paid for
  22. Yes, and super clean. Did he fumble it once tonight?
  23. Bumping Stringer off the ball for that contested mark was a thing of beauty. How can someone with elite pace, elite decision making, laser like foot skills with plenty of toughness and deceptively strong one on one abilities slip through to the rookie draft?
  24. Sorry, don't agree. From the Casey games I watched this year I haven't seen anything like a dominant performance from either Fullarton or Verrall, particularly against the stronger often non AFL listed rucks. Samson Ryan from Richmond absolutely smashed them both earlier this year
