  1. Why do we attract these BS [censored] goals against every week without fail.
  2. What is this safe footy again.
  3. But Viney also did damage the other way so it wasn’t a full negating role IMO.
  4. Or it did happen as initially reported and the leak has been plugged as it wasn’t meant to get out.
  5. Yeah that was one nasty gash
  6. Yep saw that. Just goes to show that your damned if you do or damned if you don't. The best way to stick it up em is to keep winning and do so convincingly and in a united way. Anything but will invite speculation, rumour and criticism. Its just the footy cycle. Teams like Geelong and Collingwood escape this criticism because they keep on winning. It is that simple.

Does the fed election result have a bearing on the outcome ?
  8. The magistrate is clearly a Melbourne supporter - played it well.
  9. Not the player comparison I’d be making. He is v. good but predominately an outside player. Nothing wrong with that but if Collingwood lose the inside game Nick is not going to have an impact which is where Ablett Jnr and others like Bont can have.
  10. Neither side needs to do anything. He has 3 years to play out.
  11. Trac as captain may rub a lot of the playing group the wrong way. Hopefully the player vote is somewhat unanimous if that is to be the case.

What about Smith's unprovoked hit to the head of Impey with the footy, while he had his back turn. At least Nash was in the field of play and he clumsily knocked Miers out. Smith should be graded as intentional and low impact, which I believe is a 1 week suspension. How else can it be graded?

    No winners in footy today

A ‘not 15 mark’ met by a tackle is never HTB unless it’s Geelong.

A bee in my bonnet is when an opposition player follows another through the protected zone then proceeds to engage with the player with ball. This should be an automatic 50 even after called to play on. The player should be required to clear the protected zone before re engaging if he enters the protected zone.

So Oliver is our most highly rated player? Why doesnt it feel like that? Also Windsor suffering 2nd year blues..but with the injury interrupted pre-season, one can be forgiven. Hopefully he builds up some form.

Given its an absolute free reign on some of these NGA prospects, does any know why Tarion Ah-mu doesn't qualify for it? Have they actually given a solid reason as silly as it maybe?
  18. It’s like a golfer who constantly slices - they’ll aim further Left (RH golfer) to compensate and the sub consciously realise they need to leave the face open otherwise it’s going way left and the issue is compounded. The flaw is the technique. For Max run straight at the man and kick over him. There is an argument to be had that his height of ball drop probably doesn’t compensate for the rotation of the earth (sorry flat earth era) hence the shankery we see.
  19. I’ll just leave this here for future reference. Tommy, if your trolling… eat 💩

Saints don’t have a midfield. Why bother spending 1.5+ large on TDK. If I was them I’d be looking for inside midfielders. What the hell has happened to Jack Steele.

The pressure points were a bit lower than expected, still sub 200, which means it can be even better.
  22. Yeah that setup was very interesting...giving him total space in F50 to roam free. Only works when the oppo doesnt have a suitable match-up, which most teams wont.
  23. To me this highlights that defence is not really decided by the back 6. It shows that a bit of pressure up the field goes a long long way.

Their young team will struggle on a 5 day break.
