I was referring to the fact that Max wants that eighth AA and that’s what’s driving him currently. Idk why the Club or Judd or his manager would be holding off the announcement. He has said he’d like to tell me but he can’t and I fully understand and respect that (of course). I’ve said this all along. What I do know for sure is that he’s not leaving the MFC. PS I love the thought of Morris hiding in Judd’s bushes for so long and the nights are getting colder.

He’s actually a very humble person. He clearly has reasons for stalling, the club may also be behind the delay of the announcement, but it’s unfair for you or anyone else to question his character based on what journalists are surmising.

Oh, don’t get me wrong… I don’t expect humility from Max. Nobody should. He’s human and of course he’s aware of his myriad incredible achievements. But it also makes sense that at times this can serve as detrimental to the club, particularly his teammates, who are also human. I know this. But when I’ve mentioned it before I’ve been howled down. Like I said, Max is untouchable. No one person is bigger than the club, as the saying goes. But Max is likely the closest you’ll get to the exception to the rule.

Unfortunately, it is true. Max may’ve been keen to get Grundy before Grundy arrived. Max was never gonna “sacrifice his role.” Ever. And TC… he was brought in to “give Max a chop out” not to be a standby should Max get injured, which is all he’s ever been. It’s a difficult thing to discuss because god forbid anyone should say anything negative about Max… he’s untouchable. Max gets what Max wants. Whether that’s right or wrong… it’s the truth.

@bluey was miffed that Kozzie gave his jumper to Luke Breust. Firstly, Koz said he did it because he admires and respects Breust very much. Secondly, it’s Kozzie’s jumper to do with as he so desires. The players all have three home jumpers which are rotated throughout the season. At the end of the season one jumper is given to the player’s sponsor, one is auctioned and the third is the player’s to keep. Koz chose to give his to Breust. More Uniform Fun Facts… With every other jumper (away, clash, ANZAC etc.) the players have two jumpers in rotation. At season’s end one is auctioned and the player keeps the other. The one person is responsible for the laundering of all jumpers, shorts, socks, training tops, the lot. He’s Jake the property manager and this is only one of his many tasks. He uses the laundry at AAMI which is a shared laundry. This isn’t about the Club saving money, it’s about the Club worrying if they hired a laundry service there’s a chance some articles will go missing (not stolen, but lost). And the burning question (for me anyways): why does Kozzie wear such big shorts? In particular, huge away (white) shorts. That’s because he prefers them that way. He also has his jumpers custom-fitted. Again, his choice.
