  1. When you think you couldn’t possibly read anything stoopider tonight, and then you do.
  2. They won’t be embarrassed. They’ll be angry and disappointed because a win will temporarily pause the sch!tt-slinging party they’re currently enjoying. Then what will they have to make them feel better about themselves?! A bunch of personal shortcomings doesn’t just go away, y’ know.
  3. He’s actually more respectful of our club than many of our fans, especially the fans on here. But he’s definitely a Blues fan, not Dees, even deep down. If he was a Dees fan at heart I would’ve picked it ages ago. I pride myself on my perfect record of recognising a masquerader. I’ve never been mistaken. It’s my superpower 🤩🙃👊🏼
  4. I truly hate posts like this, but I hope you keep it up, because you know what I don’t hate? I don’t hate the thought of people like you crying into your pillow for at least another year. In fact I love this thought a little bit too much 😂 Goody ain’t going anywhere anytime soon… get used to it.
  5. A mere six months ago Luker was gravely ill, double pneumonia with multiple complications. He was bedridden for weeks. He lost a third of his body weight and all his muscle tone. When he returned well into the preseason MOST OF WHICH HE MISSED OUT ON he was unrecognisable, literally unrecognisable. He was so weak it was an effort for him to PUT HIS [censored] SHOES ON. Yet you’ve no qualms about bagging him? He’s a kid ffs. Considering what he’s been through it’s a huge achievement he can play at all.
  6. Tracc is always super focussed on whatever he’s doing, and he’s also aware that he’s a role model for kids. So when Tommy Sparrow kicks a great goal and Tracc loses himself in the moment, yelling “F*#& Yeah, Spaz!” he instantly realises there are kids nearby and duly apologises.. That’s SO Tracc 😅
  7. Wine? At 8:30am??! Yeah nah.
  8. The AFL boys are probably already on the Gold Coast. As soon as training finished, quick showers, bags already packed, straight to the airport. However, despite also playing on Saturday, the VFL boys aren’t flying out until tomorrow. I was curious as to why they’re not all going together today. So I asked about it and was surprised to hear that it’s to save on the cost of another night’s accommodation for the Casey squad. Apparently the club’s VFL budget is a separate (and way smaller) one from the AFL budget and it makes me think no wonder the VFL comp is a bit of a joke. Or maybe I don’t understand the workings of such.
  9. I’m 99% sure JvR will be running around in the twos, OD. Got it from the horse’s mouth.
  10. 😭 Alejandro finished up last Sunday 😭 There’s a new guy named Mo. That’s gonna take some getting used to. Mo. It’s not even a real name. And he knows it’s not a real name because he said I can call him Brian 🤷‍♀️
  11. I am, OD. Same day fifo. And same again next Sunday for Adelaide
  12. I reckon you’re right about Jeffo playing. He’ll come in for Rooey.
  13. Did an ankle during the break. Surgery last weekend.
  14. There was no group session on the bye round weekend; they had a six-day break from Monday to Saturday during which they had individual training schedules to complete.
  15. The anti-soccer ball brigade (especially you, PF): no soccer balls today. No soccer balls because this is a MAIN TRAINING session, it’s not a CAPTAIN’S RUN, nor is it a a FLUSH/RECOVERY run. Anyways, full match sim right now.
  16. Sesto is running at pace. No signs of any issues with the hammy. Said he’s been told he’s looking at three weeks and this pleases him greatly.
  17. AJ is healing well from surgery a week ago. He’s actually here doing leg stretching type exercises and the physio says while he’s three or four weeks away, he’ll be running on Saturday.
  18. It’s a bit warmer here today… 7 degrees! Charles not playing this week AMW and Shane and AJ are working with a trainer: light drills. Kick to kick analyst handballs. Luker is delighted to have been offered another year. Ch. 10 reporter promised me he’d get footage of Luker but methinks he was just humouring me. 😅 Ch. 9 also here. Just the cameraman, no reporter as yet. Maybe it’s Tom Morris and he’s hiding behind a tree because the others have told him what I’ve said about him. 😂 No absentees today. All of both squads are here.
  19. … AND THIS!!!
  20. … and Luker, don’t forget Luker!
  21. Hey Ditcha, I’m not bothered by PF’s pathetic comment, nor should you be. Don’t let anyone deter you from posting on here. Hope to see you down at Gosch’s again sometime soon :)
  22. A couple of injuries: Ryleigh has a 5cm tear in her hamstring, sustained last week. She’s expecting to be right in time for the second *praccy match. Gabby has a small tear in her soleus muscle (calf). She should be right for the beginning of the season proper. Denby was wearing a moon boot. I don’t know the nature of her injury. Saraid came off towards the end and looked to be in considerable discomfort. She was nursing her left hand and they took her back to AAMI for treatment. *1st practice match: vs Hawks at Casey Fields on Saturday the 26th of July at 12:30pm 2nd practice match: vs Adelaide at Unley Oval (SA) on Sunday the 3rd of August at 11:30am
  23. I love this weather, Slartz! Most of the girls were wearing their numbers so it was only a matter of working out who’s who among the new girls. The girls are always super appreciative, no matter the weather. I was the only spectator until my DA buddy/boss lady/knitting supremo came to pass on a gift for me to give to Jibba tomorrow from the DA, the traditional player’s firstborn’s gift of a teddy bear with dad’s/mum’s number on its jumper.
