  1. Not that I know of. But complaining would be futile. I can’t imagine anything would be done about it.
  2. Right??!! Dude must look at the fixture at the beginning of the season and clear his calendar for every date that we play. 😭
  3. I don’t think Fritta should’ve come back into the side last week. I agree that he should remain at Casey until he earns his spot in the seniors. But I don’t think Roo should be in the side, either. They both need a spell at Casey. Fritta was recalled by virtue of a “freak accident” which ruled Melks out (who the hell rips a gash in their leg with their own boot-stud?!?!). BTW, and this isn’t directed at you, Fritta is just another player at our Club. My close friendship with his mum doesn’t cloud my judgement at all.
  4. I don’t know. I was just told that because Sandringham and Casey both have byes this weekend they’ve organised a scratch match which will be played at Casey Fields on Saturday. Agree with the unfairness of Kozzie’s two praccies not being counted in his suspension. PS Laura Kane’s appointment is one of the worst decisions made by the AFL ever.
  5. Fritta came in coz Melks was out. Also I think Fritta was dropped not so much to regain form, but to send a message to the entire team, including Fritta himself. That’s how I saw it.
  6. The Kolt Kiss is also unleashed when Kolt is the one who kicks a goal. After he kicked a goal last week he kissed Fritta on the neck. Kisses for everyone! Kisses aplenty! ‘Twas raining kisses 👄 👄 👄👄👄
  7. No. No, you’re not. Sneak peek at the newest addition to the cheer squad… 😘
  8. I thought the aim of sending a player to Casey to try to recapture their form involved keeping them there for a substantial amount of time, even if they kick a bag in one game. As for Melk, “coming back from injury” doesn’t really apply here. He had a gash in his skin, not a soft tissue or muscle injury. They kept him out for a week so as not to run the risk of infection.
  9. Anyone care to guess which umpire will be officiating on Saturday night? I’ll give you a clue: his name is NATHAN WILLIAMSON, he wears #22 and he HATES MELBOURNE.
  10. Finnbar Maley, what a beautiful Irish name. Love seeing a debutante kick a goal. Especially when it’s against Essendon 😁
  11. Ugh I hate Kane Cornes so much. He’s a pigheaded bully who has no issue with picking on junior players. Critiquing is one thing but condescendingly laughing while making up the stupid Sheezy skit is another thing entirely. He’s a nasty bastard and I’m glad North has banned him. Now watch what he implies or even says if North win tonight (please footy gods let North beat the most revolting team in the league). That conceited POS will take credit for firing them up. 🤮
  12. Except they absolutely do give out personal information about where players are; funerals, pre-planned days off, or a thousand other things.
  13. I reckon the dropping of Fritta has something to do with it.
  14. Kev will post his report sometime after 4pm. I hope that’s okay by you @Roost it far Kev will surely mention absentees and Clarrie was on that list today. I asked Jacob (our club doctor) why Clarrie was a no-show and he said “Now come on Ghosty, you know I can’t tell you that.” I told him that was a crock since he always tells me stuff. He said on this occasion he can’t. That made me think it’s something serious. I said as much and Jacob said we’ll know soon enough why Clarrie wasn’t here.
  15. Turner in full training and is fine. He said he’ll know in a couple of hours if he’s selected. Melk good to go 👍🏽
  16. Luker is in full training. He looks (and feels) great.
  17. Apparently Sandringham also have a bye this weekend so there’s a scratch match between them and Casey at Casey Fields on Saturday.
  18. According to Chappy it’s because so many others use it. He said it’s always slippery too.
  19. I told Maysie it’s all about him and only him today coz May 1 (see what I did there 😁) and he told Max but Max wasn’t haven’t a bar of it. 😂
  20. I asked Tmac if he’s seen the article about his amazing stats in defence. He said Ruby (his wife) showed it to him. I told him how proud of him we all are. He said, “Not bad for an ancient old bugger, hey.” 😅
  21. You know it’s not a S&G sesh when the coaches come out before the boys. They’re out here already. The reason the main session is here and not at Casey is because they fly out this arvo and they’d rather not have to travel to and from Casey before the flight. The main session is always two days before GameDay and it’s at Casey except for when we play interstate, especially when it’s Perth. Chappy says they prefer having the main session at Casey. I said yeah because it’s a closed session right? He said no it’s because the surface here is sch!tt. Doesn’t mince words does our Chappy. 😅
  22. The main training session this week is this morning at Gosch’s starting at 9:15am and finishing at 10:45am. This session’s usually at Casey so there mightn’t be many people here, (although it is listed on the website). I’m hoping Kev and/or Harvey Wallbanger and/or Slarti and/or anyone else who isn’t me turns up coz we all know how observant I am (ie. not in the slightest). I’ll certainly report any haircuts or new girlfriend info but that’s where it ends 😅
  23. They’ll be the first things I pack. I noticed a little hole in one of them the other day. I mentioned it to my son and he said I should darn them and we both fell about laughing our heads off
  24. You spelled “bed” wrong 😁
