We have Pride flags, Pink Lady flags, Indigenous flags, Irish flags and more. We wave these flags during the particular matches to which they pertain. We’d need ten times the number of flag-wavers were we to wave them all, along with our many MFC flags, at every match. We have handheld banners and posters bearing players’ names/nicknames which are also plentiful, not to mention giant heads. Goody does want us to be a destination club for indigenous players but he has no say in what we hold up. So, on this occasion you’ll have to find something else on which to blame him. But fear not, there’s no shortage of other things, just 10 minutes on these boards and you’ll find more than enough.

I don’t see Chin as any more melodramatic than other players but clearly you do. But maybe with Chin it’s not contrived, maybe his gesticulation and facial expressions are inherent. FWIW, he’s generally a serious person and his resting face is intense concentration.

You have an unhealthy obsession with Chin and what you see as his faults. You use words like “repulsive” and “imposter” to describe him. Seems rather savage. I’m thinking there’s more to it than a dislike for a certain player. Maybe you know him personally, maybe you have a history with him 🤷‍♀️

You’re right: captaincy is not something that Clarrie would want to do, and it’s also something I could never see being offered to him. On the subject of potential captains, I find it amusing that according to some on here the criteria seems to be the next captain should be someone who is playing really well at the moment. The mere suggestion of Kozzie as the next captain is ridiculous. Personally I think Spaz has future captain written all over him, as does Kolt and Chin That’s the distant future, in the near future I’ve always thought and still think Ricky Lever should be our next captain, and so did many others on here… when he was playing well. The qualities found in a captain don’t appear and disappear depending on their current form. As always, this is MY OPINION.

Clarrie’s face looks so much better today compared to Saturday night. He had the gash stitched in the rooms and our doc did a great job because the scar is neat. The shiner has almost disappeared. Charles is confident he’ll be available this week but some other track-watchers are thinking they’ll hold him over for the North game. Harvey’s cut above the eye is almost unnoticeable. The shiner has vanished and now he just has “glue” on the cut. Petts and Howesy understandably not there today. Apparently Petts was still feeling groggy yesterday arvo. AJ rehabbing, coming along as well as expected. TC didn’t train with the main group. According to Chocco they’re “looking after him, especially on a day like today.” I have no idea what that means. AMW told me I smell beautiful and wanted to know what perfume I was wearing. I was gonna throw out a big expensive high-end brand coz he wouldn’t know the difference but then he said he wants to buy some for his girlfriend so I hadda tell the truth… an el cheapo body mist from Woolies, a bargain at $10 😅 He was actually pleased about it. Idk if his girlfriend will be though.
