  1. Andy’s clearly tweaked something in his leg. He was limping but right now he’s jogging around the boundary with ease and with his signature gorgeous smile.
  2. Just spoke with Luker. He’s walking slow laps. I almost didn’t recognise him since he’s lost weight and has grown a mo, he approached me with a huge smile though. He’s feeling a lot better but it’s gonna be a slow and steady process getting him fit again. He’s really happy to be back and says he’s loving living in Melbourne
  3. Tmac is rehabbing. Not sure what his issue is but it looks like it’s a leg thing. He’s on the bike now.
  4. Yep. Was just tackled by Bill and there was no half-arzedness about it.
  5. No Maysie or Koz. But Ricky’s here. Also, Roy George didn’t end up going to WA. He’s not here today.
  6. Charles though. Geez Louise he’s speedy and good luck getting hold of him oppo since he’s a ā€œslippery little suckerā€ 😁
  7. Kolt’s going indoors to train and he’s not happy about it. Walking with the physio and he says ā€œthat’s boringā€ to which the physio replies, ā€œ Yeah I know but you’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do, mate.ā€ I reckon he just wanted to stay out here in the sunshine with his teammates. 😭
  8. Kolt, Leb and Tmac kicking short sharp hard passes to each other. Kolt kicked a lightning bolt straight into Tmac’s Jatz crackers. I hope three kids was his limit. 🤭
  9. Eminem blaring at 9am and the sun’s shining and the mood is GREAT. Look who’s here… Leb!
  10. The boys are out on the ground already. Earlier start because there’s a funeral to attend after the session.
  11. It would be great if people stuck around for the Casey praccy. I daresay North supporters will turn up in large numbers and hang around for the second match. Yes, 37 degrees is not ideal but slip, slop, slap, seek and slide and your good to go šŸ‘šŸ½
  12. This was never in question. But at the time Clarrie was his own worse enemy. A training block or a stint in the seconds simply wasn’t an option. The Olivers are lovely people but oftentimes their version of events and Clarrie’s version of the same events differs.
  13. I agree with you Rab. I was just pointing out the different types of attention sought in relation to introverts (in reply to your comment about someone who claims they don’t want attention but sends texts that denote otherwise) I wasn’t condoning Kozzie’s actions by any means.
  14. Totes different, Rab. Koz doesn’t like attention in the form of face-to-face interaction with someone he doesn’t know very well. Trying to take Mark of the Millennium will also attract attention just like sending texts for S&Gs (if true) but that’s attention he’s able to cope with and probably even enjoys. We have to bear in mind he’s only 23yo.
  15. … and VIC.
  16. I get your point LG but it’s Redman, and he plays for Essendon 🤮 so for mine, nothing to see here. šŸ˜…
  17. This is tautological, for a pandemic is only ever world wide. Soz Binman but I can never fault anything you say so I’m jumping on this. Consider it a compliment, albeit backhanded šŸ˜
  18. From what I’ve been told you’re right about the reason they played Clarrie at that time. And it’s pointless comparing him to Melks or Spargo or anyone else for that matter because they’re all individual. What works for one may not work for another. Imo they made the right choice with Clarrie despite everyone’s opinion that it was the wrong choice.
  19. Fact: some the players read DL, mainly the young ones. This isn’t just them telling me they read it, this is them occasionally saying something that they’ve clearly read on here. But that’s not the only reason folks should exercise sensitivity, even if none of them read it, it’s still a really sch!ttty thing to do: bagging a player within hours of him sustaining a heartbreaking injury. That’s sch!tty af.
  20. One of the brother boys told me Kozzie is just stirring the pot. If that’s true, awesome. But someone needs to school Koz on what’s funny and what’s not.
  21. Deez21 never said the bond between Goody and Kozzie is the only reason Kozzie is staying. But you’d better believe…it’s a massive part of his reason to stay. The strength and value of their relationship shouldn’t be underestimated. It’s so clichĆ© I know but Goody is like a Dad to Koz. On another point (not in answer to you 58er, just in general), I wouldn’t read too much into Kozzie’s answer in that interview (I have to do my time). He’s an introvert and always will be therefore his uncomfortableness with this sort attention (public interview) will always be manifested in awkward responses. edit: His response ā€œI’m contracted to Melbourneā€ is clearly a manager-driven reply IMHO. Similar to Vines when asked in a post-match interview about staying at Melbourne (not considering a move to North) where he knee-jerked ā€œYesā€ quickly followed by ā€œwe’ll see how it goesā€ as if his manager’s advice on what to say came to his mind a second too late. 😁
  22. Your feeling about that is right. Shane has gone from sullen and downcast and generally disengaged to confident and buoyant and super keen, raring to go. He’s another one who can’t disguise his feelings. It’s gonna take our professional psych staff quite the effort to bring his spirits back up. It’s just devastating.
  23. Not everyone is on the socials and not everyone goes on the club website. There are folks on here for whom Demonland is their sole way of gleaning info on all things Melbourne including training sessions and practice matches. Besides, up until recently, the website wasn’t updated on these matters as often as necessary. And it’s funny you should choose the info about the Casey practice match this Saturday as an example of why folks should refer to the club website since there’s no mention of it there, or if there is it’s hard to find.
  24. If you were issued a ban for addressing such astounding insensitivity I’d start a riot. These players are human beings with feelings. Shane is absolutely gutted. It’s gonna be sad to see his demeanour of old again. It’s heartbreaking.
