I sure can. Kolt is exactly what we need and what any club would want. He’s passionate, and can be quite emotional but that’s because he cares so much. Kolt is dedicated to being his best. He’s loyal and honest and his teammates feed off his exuberant energy. He is 100% committed to the MFC. Along with Salo he’s one of the most popular in the locker-rooms. He works incredibly hard and takes his footy seriously. He’s confident but not cocky. Goody loves coaching him because he’s so intent on giving his all and he’s always keen to learn more. And I should know… I once waved to him at training 😂

Interesting scheduling: our AFLW season launch is on tomorrow night. An early night and not much partying due to the intra-club the following morning. For the players, that is. That doesn’t apply to us guests 🍷 🥳 🍺

Spaz’s mum was on the other side of the ground and wasn’t sure what had happened. One of our DA members is good friends with her and was on the phone trying to explain, such a hard thing to hear because you just knew she’d be frantic and sure enough she was very distraught. I can’t imagine how it must feel to see your child in such a state.

Poor Tommy, out cold before he even hit the ground. I hadn’t seen it in slow-mo ‘til now and yes things look worse in slow-mo but geez that’s hard to watch.

The Collingwood chant ringing around the ground at the time was revolting, as was the cheering and applauding of Maynard for the rest of the match, and this is an example of what sets Collingwood apart from all other clubs.

Seeing Spaz lying motionless and unconscious like that brought back awful memories of the Gussy incident. You could feel it around the ground. It was eerie. I don’t know about other North supporters but those near us were respectful, unlike the disgusting Collingwood fans on that fateful day.

Problem is this, NC: if the disparagement of Goody was confined to this thread alone I’d be more than happy to eschew it. But just like the insidious disease that it is it’s spread to pretty much every thread thereby rendering this one no different to the others. No, Dub. People clearly don’t get it and that’s why we are reminded of it every five [censored] minutes. Oh and did you know we went out in straight sets in two consecutive years?! I know right… lucky for us this gets mentioned a million times a day or we might forget it. Happy clappers (like me) who luvs them a loss need constant reminding of the sad situation our club is in, and how Goody should be hanged, drawn and quartered. I was gonna start a dedicated thread congratulating Goody on his 200th game as head coach (only the fourth MFC coach to do so) but it’s a given that within five minutes it would be hijacked by folks who want him gone but can’t/won’t say it without insulting him, and can’t/won’t say it once or twice, but insist on saying the same thing over and over and over and over again. I’ve not met a single MFC kid who is cocky and ahead of himself like Konstas is, not even close. I don’t doubt he’ll become a great batsman but he needs to remember he’s not there yet. He absolutely lost me when he told Jasprit to “get back to your mark!” That’s disrespectful to say the least. Says a lot about him character-wise.
