I don’t disagree. I was having a little dig at Demonland which is something that’s done very often, and with no malice.

Unfortunately, not gonna happen. It seems once a nickname is bestowed, it’s set in stone. Harves will just have to suffice.

Any of the above could happen and your guess is as good as mine or anyone else’s. I’m just happy that Luker isn’t a high profile player because the media would go to town on this and we all know how that usually pans out 🙄 In either of your suggested scenarios, he needs support and care and you’d like to think he’s receiving this.

Slartibartfast didn’t “jump to conclusions” he started his comment with “idle speculation” and when you do that, everything following is exactly that… idle speculation. Besides, in terms of “jumping to conclusions” how is saying Luker is possibly at home in WA for personal reasons any different to saying Luker is possibly no longer on our list? That’s either two cases of jumping to conclusions… or it’s zero cases of that.

That’s always a possibility as it is with any player but it’s been for a while now. I chat to Kolt a fair bit and oftentimes he talks about him and Luker living at Geoff Porz’s (how it’s working out etc.) but Kolt hasn’t mentioned anything about Luker for quite a while now, and there’s no way I’d ask him why that’s so. I just sincerely hope Luker’s ok. He’s just a kid really.

He definitely wasn’t there today and hasn’t been since before Xmas.

Sadly I think this is the case. He hasn’t been to training in ages and he wasn’t included in the team photo. He wasn’t at the players’ lunch which was after training and before the photo shoot. Roy was at the lunch and while not in the team photo he was there while the photos were being taken.

Luker wasn’t at training, nor was he in the team photo. Andy was at training though. He walked over from the rooms with Koz.

Yeah it’s at Casey but as usual it’s a “closed” session.

I paid out on Kingy for only ever saying negative things about us. Then he started saying really good things about us. I hate it when that happens. 😂

That’s the question on everyone’s lips. I asked Tim Lamb and he gave nothing away. He just said “Kolt’s on the bike, he’ll be right.”

He’s also signed with Casey. He couldn’t train with us until he did so. For a while he’d turn up to Gosch’s and just watch, now he participates.

Last night I spoke with an MFC staff member who introduced himself as “Matt, the new media guy.” I complimented him on the improvements of content, especially on the MFC website. Many are saying we’ll end up bottom four based on finishing 14th last season, coupled with believing everything they read/hear in the media. And why wouldn’t they, right? If this was any other club I’d probably form the same opinion. I reckon it’s great that us failing is widely expected: it lessens the pressure. The other 17 clubs won’t know what hit them 👊🏼 PS: that apostrophe in your thread title needs to go, I just know it’s gonna do my head in 😂
