These other players still look close to being damaging. Gut feel: Viney will be given another week and Maynard will come in for Stretch for added grunt. Frost or Salem for Wagner depending on our preferred tall/medium defensive dynamic, but I don't see what Wagner offers that Frost doesn't. Yet, I also don't see Goodwin desiring three KPDs or for Tomald to push back into and mess with our forward-line structure. Bernie will survive the MRP, and Watts hasn't done enough to resume a role as a forward target. Hannan will stay and Melksham and Harmes will keep Bugg out. Conclusion: Stretch for Maynard (and maybe Frost for Wagner) with some Demonland underwhelment and serious MFC selection headaches for an elimination final should we make it.

I think you're exaggerating the backwaterness of Adelaide a touch. It's like 25 mins difference in flying time from Sydney than Melbourne. And with easy and quick transport from the airport to the city.

Then we brought Max who wasn't statistically the number ruckman in the competition straight back into the middle and at the same time lost a medium forward position because Cam isn't a KPF. (He is a utility - and a very decent one at that). We've been sketchy in our set-up ever since.
