NON-MFC: Finals Week 01
It has to be better than last night, surely?

NON-MFC: Finals Week 01
If port [censored] the bed next week and get beaten by the hawks/dogs, who could we pick out of the remains? Butters? Wines? Bergman? Georgiades? Marshall? Or is that sort of talk just a load of carry-on?

NON-MFC: Finals Week 01
Nah. Different game. Neither team cares much whether the opposition kicks 100pts - as long as they kick 101pts.

NON-MFC: Finals Week 01
Yeah? Nah. Pressure still trumps everything.

Fages as ruck coach?

Go Sam Frost
Love Frosty. Couldn’t exist in the same backline as May though. If only he had some guidance in those formative years instead of oranges. I think Weddle could have become Frosty#2 if it wasn’t for a stern hand.

Trade Targets
Pretty sure he did. Watching him just before that injury, he reminded me of Schwartz before the knee. Super coordinated, mobile, left or right. But just how the [censored] do you break your pelvis when landing from a mark? Good effort to play again at all after that. But he’ll probably know all about it in 20 - 30 years.

Trade Targets
Feels like we’re trying to be tight asses and trade in players from the $2 shop. We need to put on the wide brimmed white hat, wide lapels, bold colours, fur, put on the swagger, and flash that cash. We may not hook a big fish this year , but if Freo, Suns, Bris or Port keep shooting themselves in the foot, we need to be ready with the big offer. I’m talking Young, Rayner, Anderson, Andrew, Georgiades etc. Not the poor relations. Don’t worry about contracts. They don’t mean anything. 2 low picks will loosen up most players.

Trade Targets
Don’t get me wrong - he was a star. But just couldn’t get a decent run at it, mainly through shear bad luck as he was apparently very good on the track.

Probably should have just kept BBB on the list if we’re going for SD. Poor bugger is rooted and would just be a list clogger with us and [censored] up the development of the young talls.

Welcome to Demonland: Luker Kentfield
I’m not sure if it’s really heading that way tbh. The changes to the ruck rules this year has benefited the ones that can wrestle and use their strength just as much as the taller ones like Max. They’ll probably change the bloody rules again in a few months. (Actually, if they get rid of the 10m circle, there might be less PCLs from the centre bounce and a better contest, but that’s another story). JT took a bet on Verrall and Kentfield. They both showed something and then had interrupted draft years. He got them for bargain basement and so expected to need at least some time. And as we all know… time is a traveller…

Welcome to Demonland: Luker Kentfield
I’m not sure if you’re relying on the stats, or are actually watching the games? Verrall was better than even against most others - even Bryan and Moyle. The issue was playing him less than 60% game time and then mostly forward as they tried to turn Fullarton into a ruck. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Fullarton in the backline next year, partially covering for Tommo leaving. Anyway, why are we talking about other players in the Luker thread? Also, I believe it’s Kentfield. Kenterfield makes me think I see kangaroos up ahead…

Hold on - I thought I had it but now not so sure… could be eao - spoken by environmental scientists, or those outsourcing applications ebo - short for Ebola (harsh) edo - capital of Japan 🇯🇵 and associated cuisine. eeo - equal employment opportunity. ???- don’t think he’s disadvantaged?? efo - earnings from operations (self expl). But also a type of African spinach! ego - it’s not a dirty word - don’t you believe what you’ve seen or you’ve heard. eho - environmental health officer. Also, ‘hey’ in Spanish 🇪🇸 eio - usually used here and there with a preceding ‘quack, quack and ei’. Ask TMac. Also possibly a bus connection. ejò - snake. éjò - burnt rubble or ash / burnt bacon (both Espérantos - and, oddly, could work for some). eko - Nigerian dish made from corn/cornstarch. elo - don’t bring me down (groos). emo - less dark than goth. eno - handy after a dodgy vindaloo or night on the turps. Can be taken orally, or listened to in a dark room. eoo - only said by environmental scientists, or after tasting something particularly bad. epo - can’t find any? I’ll call my bombres mate. eqo - also said by environmental scientists. Or playing the round ball game. ero - see eeo. Also something to do with boats. eso - handy in an emergency. Not sure if we have one? eto - Ahh. Could be many things, usually estimated, including ‘time off’. euo - you’re under (Ken)oath. evo - usually found with rice(-rs) ewo - could be educational - could be warfare. Who knows? exo - pricey. On the outer. K-Pop. ?? eyo - Nigerian festival ezo - ‘land of the barbarians’. Believed to refer currently to the AIA centre, and previously Vic park. So, a lot of them work - to varying degrees.

Nah. Only 1 ‘f’. It’s short for ‘married at first sight’. 👍
