  1. Filth would be filthy at that amount of travel.
  2. I was just glad that people were concentrating on positive role models rather than simply asking him to stand up straight. I think he can be a very handy player. Anything beyond that is a bonus.
  3. So at this stage weโ€™ll be happy if Jeffo is some Hudson, Ablett, Kennedy hybrid? ๐Ÿ˜€ No pressure.
  4. Thought heโ€™s been a bit quiet ๐Ÿค” โ€ฆstill no excuse.
  5. Has anyone seen AJ practicing ruck craft with Max, Tom & Will yet? He doesnโ€™t look big enough to me, but Iโ€™ll look at some of his games tonight.
  6. Canโ€™t wait for the hun to describe a player as taciturn.
  7. Like Google โ€œSheetsโ€? Not Apple โ€œNumbersโ€?
  8. Maybe OP is referring to day to day activities rather than football. ๐Ÿค”
  9. Thought he was more of a flathead?
  10. Certainly hope not. Would like to think they have got that out of their system. Much fitter squad this year than the past couple. Whatever surgeries required have been completed before pre-season started. Along with natural improvement from younger players. I hold high expectations as should they.
  11. If memory serves, he was leading Chas this year until kneed. Could be his year.
  12. Sources say that when they were up, they were up.
  13. Historically the private school system in SA does not have the depth of talent to sufficiently develop the talent they collect. The competition pretends to be like the APS, but there are only 1-3 potential AFL players in each side. The focus is always on winning the premiership, which is only really a possibility for 2โ€“3 teams each year. The good players stand out but are never really tested. The SANFL u18โ€“ league pathway is probably better, but players from the private schools are only available to their SANFL sides during school breaks and end of season. There is too much competition between the two systems where they should be cooperating.
  14. Et tu, Deano?
  15. Probably just what they heard this morning. So many ways for them to find and hear music these daysโ€ฆ I better stop before I sound too old.
  16. Interesting hypothetical. Clubs are getting very good at trading out their early pics for bags of rubble in the 40s, 50s and 60s. Just look at what GC did last year. If you still have some draft capital left after the bids, you can trade back in just after where you left. Lots of variables around this one. Itโ€™s possible that if Andrew was tied to us, he wouldโ€™ve dropped further down the picks and not cost so much in late pics. The simplest way we could have made a play to get back into the 2020 draft after matching and picking up Andrew is by trading 2 of our 2021 pics. Pretty unlikely we wouldโ€™ve done that as it (pick 19) wouldโ€™ve cost the picks used on Jeffo and Adams. We should revisit this in 10โ€“15 years and compare possibilities. Andrew may have a stellar career. But our picks from the 2021 draft may be CHF and CHB of our next dynasty.
  17. Chin looks like heโ€™s getting ready for preseason on Devils Island.
  18. One Sparrow does not a summer makeโ€ฆ
  19. There is no substitute for speed, especially combined with clean hands and elite decision making. Canโ€™t see Crows being brain dead enough to let him slide.
  20. Just what heโ€™s been saying in any interviews - training hard, disappointed with last year, going to get MFC back up the ladder. Seems very focused and more serious than usual.
