Thought Max lifted everyone - you could feel the heat from him, Jack and Kozzie A couple of moments that they would want again but the game was there for the taking. Annoyed we couldn’t see it through. Can’t see anyone being rested now. They will get an extended break soon. Max will rest when he’s dead /retired.

Pretty sure this is what Clarry had operated on a few weeks back. If you don’t get them done in the off season, then they can come back to bite you during the middle of the year.

The season looks like it’s shot. But even if it’s not, there is no point throwing all of the toys out of the cot after a few bad games. It’s damn hard to win these premierships because every other bastard is trying to win as well. If EVERYTHING doesn’t go perfectly, you’re [censored]. We have not had a perfect year. Far from it. Decent teams don’t throw it in after a little hardship - they dig in and improve. Otherwise you will never have sustained success and Scott, Hardwick, Clarkson etc would be lucky if they had 1 flag each.
