KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
Not sure what youāre saying here?? How?

KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
Yeah. Good old Fred. Heās a destination club for sure. Besides Peter Bell, has any player actually returned ā and stayed there? Chris Tarrant? Trent Croad? Josh Carr? Rory Lobb? Lachie Neale? They are on fire! The only reason Jacko isnāt here, is that there isnāt any mid-season trading at the moment. I tend to think that players from other clubs will see MFC players happy to commit long-term to the club and read into that the positive environment here.

KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
To be fair, it seems that Ralphie canāt fathom a hell of a lot. Heās a bit like that little guy in the Princess Bride.

KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
Ha ha! When I clicked on this thread, I was taken to the last page I looked at: February 15, P. 48. So much doom and gloom, no wonder I hadnāt visited this thread since. And the season hadnāt even started. I often wonder if the perpetual nay sayers are just visiting to stir up trouble, or they have a nasty case of MFCSS?? Letās toast to a long and distinguished career š„

Umpiring standard
I think the main problem with 4 umpires is that they can overrule from a distance. If they had designated boundaries in each quarter of the field, I believe it would be better. By allowing umpires that are further away to overrule, as soon as the crowd roars they assume that the closer umpire cannot see a free kick, and so insert a free kick for the team with the dominant number of followers. And we all know who that is. I also cannot believe that there is no definitive statistics to point out which umpires are guilty of overruling incorrectly.

thought about doing that on YouTube

The bump is back
There was obvious accidental head trauma to Anderson. Wouldnāt it be surprised if itās delayed in a similar way to Viney. Even minor accidental head trauma is reportable from a tackle. How can a front on bump be safer? Or any different? Itās certainly more reckless. It certainly looked a lot more reckless than Kozzieās bump on Moore last year. Did Darcy even come off the field?

CASEY: Rd 11 vs Collingwood
The umpire blew the whistle for a free kick while the ball was in the air. Everybody stopped to see what the whistle was for. Either player (Adams/Hore) couldāve marked the ball. One pies player continued on and conned the umpire into calling advantage. Pretty sure that canāt be called advantage, but they might as well give it a try, eh? They almost got them over the line.

The bump is back
Consistency is never going to happen. Stewart did nothing to mitigate contact. Andersonās head made very forceful contact with the ground. Seemed to be a lot more reckless than a lot of so-called reckless acts. E.g. Peatlingās dangerous tackle on Friday night. Is there a possibility of this one being used for the defence?

NON-MFC: Round 13
Goldie is still one of the best runners in the AFL. TDK is more of a power athlete.

PREGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Bill Laurie played another good game in the VFL last night. As always. Dropped after not showing anything in his 10 minutes on ground after being sub last week. Conditions wouldāve probably suited him tomorrow. Oh well. Jeff needs to pick up another few bags of 5 goals in the VFL before heāll be trusted. Looks like itās just because he canāt play as the second ruck? He probably could. He certainly couldnāt do any worse than AJ in the centre bounce. Surely pressure players should be small and mobile and able to tackle, and, well, pressure.

Might be a decent day for pack crashing. Nobody really expects you to hold them in the wet. Even better if we have some crumbers front and centre. Better still if Darcy Moore wears a knee in the kidneys.

I take it from this that you donāt have any bustle in your life Here is hoping you can find some bustle. And if you see Lionel, say gāday.

No, [censored] it. If teams canāt announce theirā¦teams(?) the Sunday before the next game, then I donāt wanna know. And while theyāre at it, just make it like fantasy footy and have a maximum number of changes each week. That might sort them out.

Goalkicking
Occasionally we would have training where I would not let the players go in until they hit the post. Probably illegal now.

Goalkicking
Must admit that Brisbaneās last quarter reminder me of us last week. Also Casey last night did the same thing. As soon as there is any pressure ā whether thatās in the first quarter or the last, players tend to try to all win it themselves, and regress to taking low percentage shots on goal. Several times last night Casey players ran to the front of the square only to have the ball bombed over the top of them. Midfielders and forwards need to be made to kick it there. Itās much harder to miss from in front of the square.

Close. The pies tonight had 33 to 17 for Casey. And yes, that thread was melting!

Well, it was either one or the other? Or maybe sometimes that is the big big sound?
