I’m not sure if you’re relying on the stats, or are actually watching the games? Verrall was better than even against most others - even Bryan and Moyle. The issue was playing him less than 60% game time and then mostly forward as they tried to turn Fullarton into a ruck. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Fullarton in the backline next year, partially covering for Tommo leaving. Anyway, why are we talking about other players in the Luker thread? Also, I believe it’s Kentfield. Kenterfield makes me think I see kangaroos up ahead…

I think the biggest indicator of what Kozzie was trying to do can be found by looking at his expression as he goes falling over Moore. Don’t forget, Moore is, by this stage, slightly behind him. He can’t watch the ball and Moore at the same time. His mouth is suddenly open in a WTF just happened expression, and his arms fly out to stop him hitting the ground. Everything was fine until Moore decided to drop his knees and slide in several metres from the ball.

Should appeal. But there again, I thought it should have been Kozzie’s free for Moore taking his legs. At the very least, Kozzie could have no idea that Moore would be going to ground so far from the ball. He is not a mind reader. They probably won’t appeal.
