The end of the day, he is proven to get the absolute best out of players. Its something we desperately need. You can have all the talent in the world (which we may have), but you need a leader to harness and shape that talent. Paul Roos has shown he can do that.

Not sure if a thread has been started on these two players, but they look to be out of favour at Carlton. Duigan would be a handy 3rd/4th tall/running defender for us. Big strong body, craves the competitive stuff and normally uses the footy well. Laidler had a breakout year, plays a similar role to Garland, however would be a handy player. Also ultra competitive. Backline could shape up like... FB: Garland - McDonald - Dunn/Clisby HB: Duigan - Frawley - Terlich Thoughts?

I'd say we get an end of first round pick, so depending on the Crows and Essendon, pick 17/18/19. I'd also think it would be inactive, and would have to be involved in a trade. No way we will get another top 5 pick, especially when we will finish above the dogs and possibly the saints.
