Credit card got hit with $350 for a Digital Membership auto renewal today (despite opting out on the MFC app a few weeks ago). Called up and said I want to ditch Digital Membership (Kayo) and take a 3 home GA Membership instead. They said sure no probs and they will refund $200 in the next few days. You can't compare Kennedy to Cripps and Tracc but he is a good honest footballer who can play several roles if needed. A handy club man who tries at whatever role he is thrown. I hope he isn't traded by Carlton now, he sits on 99 games for the Blues and has a baby son, Theodore (just thinking ahead .... 😁) ... he is a handy player to have around.

Yeah Nah ... Jacob Weitering just signed and extension to stay a Blue until the end of 2031. Honestly, I think it depends on the player. Some I feel comfortable signing long-term, most I don't. Medical retirements are another issue that needs some type of specific regime created.

No, he is looking at retirement. He is contracted at Carlton until the end of next year. Next year will be Wright's CEO training year under Cook. Might be good for CFC if he could stay on as a consultant post 2025 though but I understand he no longer wants to work full time after next year.

Houston wants to head to Princes Park. He had a good relationship with Voss at Port Adelaide, is close friends with Jack Silvagni and was a Blues supporter growing up but Carlton aren't throwing everything at it and are juggling many balls (as you do in trade period). He had a few average outings later in the season (no criticisms, to be expected for a youngster). It is not uncommon for 2nd year players to dip a bit as well mind you (before iproving again). We will see next season.

I don't think its a case of Carlton wanting to push Owies out, think it is more a case of Owies seeking a larger salary on tne back of a good season. I suspect the Blues are happy to keep him if he re-signs on a similar amount to his current contract.
