Steven May's Future
May to Carlton, Curnow to GC, would look forward to that match up when they meet. May could become an instant cult figure at Princes Park 😁

Equalisation
All valid observations but if it continues there will indeed be a drop-off, incremental and over a long time span. If the AFL was serious about equalisation wouldn't they increase the salary & soft cap for clubs that finish lower on the ladder? 🤔

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
I think you are right. GC have both picks and decent young players. Their problem is that they don't want to pay the price required ... for now ... The Dees with Petracca or the Blues with Curnow can sit tight. Unless they get some great offers, those players can stay, they have years to run on their contracts.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
I never turned on CP5 😇 I fully supported his attempts to move to Carlton last year 😁

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
100% correct. There are more reasons for Trac to stay on than there were last year. Not saying that a trade is fantasy but definitely less impetus this year than 12 months ago.

2025 Membership Ladder
I have both Melbourne and Carlton Memberships and can confirm the CFC membership team are far more professional and proactive. When I have dealt with MFC membership on the phone they are very polite and helpful but Carlton membership dept are regularly sending me texts that my CC is about to expire and I may want to update my CC details. They are like polite debt collectors 😁

A Carlton il cibo è migliore A Carlton il cibo è migliore 🤌 Trac & Pitto can trade their Nonna's cooking tips 😁

Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
Was driving around on Saturday taxi service duty (picking up daughter from language school) and accidentally tuned in ... thought he did a pretty good job and liked how he said that Goodwin is one of only 4 MFC Premiership coaches and that whenever he comes back to visit the club the red carpet will always be rolled out for him. Take that Caro! 😁

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
Just don't borrow Pet-racca Semetary or C(l)arrie at your local library 👻 Can't claim credit for these, read them elsewhere 😁

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
There is always the Carlton gig next yesr if there is no improvement under Vossy in 2026 😁

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
I have no in depth knowledge of the world of assistant coaches but he seems to hsve good credentials and congrats on the Dees for going with a novice senior coach. Looking forward to seeing what style of play the Dees will have in 2026 👍 PS - I reckon Buckley is Tasmania bound.

2025 Membership Ladder
Just on the Dogs and Saints, Doggies had deals like $1 memberships on the proviso thst the following year was full price and St Kilda had $7 3 game packages for 2026 recently. I would be curious what each club's full home adult membership numbers are? 🤔 Too often its a case of comparing apples with oranges.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Caro loves to take swipes at MFC, not sure what it stems from, just observing [carry on ...]

Luke Jackson back to Victoria?
Warner signed a 2 year extension earlier this year (so contracted to the end of 2027).
-
The Marcus Windhager Thread
Who would have thought that throwing obscene sums of money at Tom De Koning and Jack Silvagni might upset current, valued players at the Saints 😁

Luke Jackson back to Victoria?
Warner to Freo Curnow to Swans LJ to Carlton Does tick a lot of boxes ... 🤔

Rumours
I am seeing it more as a clean out of those with bad attitudes. Needs to be done. Much better than swimming in circles.
-
Rumours
Same manager as Petracca had. Robbie D’Orazio, he will botch this one too and maybe Curnow can ditch him like Trac did after last year's debacle 😁
-
The Mitch McGovern Thread
Blues to keep Mitch McGovern on a reduced contract I reckon. He can have some good games and moments but hasn't played up to his potential most of the time. A 1 year contract might give him the focus he needs.
-
Jimmy Bartel
He would be a good pick up for the Dees I reckon.

Red and navy blue carpet 🤓

Training Ground?
In the train heading in to town and passing Caulfield RC/Station precinct right now. This third proposed site at the Racecourse is the best of the options having been suggested. Finally looks like some real 'movement at the station' is occuring. Positive signs for the Dees 👍

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
They have been there, done that, not happening again 😁 Graham Wright has given Voss 2026 to see what he can do with some big changes in the Football Department and in the playing list to come too. Interesting times ahead ...

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Wasn't really a fan of Buckley when he was the C'Wood coach but I loathe everything connected to that club 😁 I have listened to him on SEN and on Foxtel and he does show some sound analysis and some introspection from his time as a senior coach. He certainly would have a burning desire to be a Premiership coach. I think the whole process is set up for him and he will be the Dees coach in 2026.
