Wont matter much, its all such a different environment, soft draws hard draws are the least of clubs concerns id imagine. To me it almost feels like an even playing field, tall teams affected by this, all players, all competition. It may not even matter at all as there may be next to no footy played.

Just watched it.. flat out goosebumps. 2018 was wild. Friday night Finals in front of 90K plus fans and majority of were Demon fans. So good.

im now of the opinion there will be no footy, cant go ahead, and its really sad when you think about it.

Lets be totally honest, KK isn't playing anytime soon more than likely never again, he should be put on LTI list and get someone on the list quick sticks, in fact there should be a rule that you can replace Long Term Concussion sufferers with another player, take their salary off the books, release the pressure on the player and the club and be able to sign a free agent or another player.

It was always a risk and nothing short of a risk, but a risk worth taking. Setbacks expected, I am less confident in him getting on the park every time i hear of a setback, but it should be something no one really gets to angry or upset about, it seems he is in a good space as a person and dad, i think the club and the players have been fantastic with him and the empathy displayed really made me feel proud of our club. Slow, steady, and see what happens.

Spot on LG, i actually think Viney could be teh big mover this year, set for a great year, looks light on his toes and will be determined as ever to play well. If we end the year with Max, Clarry, Trac and Viney in the top 50 players, we probably play finals.

Not sure really what you are getting at but anyway i would hope we get some indication soon.

Yep must admit i didnt really read whether its on form or its a forecast. I agree, if his form continues, then he is top 50 for sure.

I love Trac and think he will explode this year and he did have a good year last year, but he is not in teh top 50 players in the comp.

Yep, he looks steady. Its not a knock on Nev and Hib, they have been great, but at some stage they will be overtaken by others, that may be Lockhart, it may be Harmes, it maybe Jordon...

Time may come very quickly for Nev and Hibbo. They were out weakest links last night in teh back half. Not through lack of trying and i hope they can find form, but hibbo has gone from being a great kick to nearly teh worse in the team and Nev is slow, still great one on one, but not sure he can go with teh pacey fwds much longer. Time will tell.

Is it because we are about to ride a wave of momentum all the way through to September?

I have read the article, its ok, some points are valid some are just ridiculous and looking for bites. When its all said and done, its up to the club and the players to make people these people look silly and for them to make us proud, i for one cannot wait for teh day where i can get stuck into certain people who have enjoyed ridiculing us for a long time.

In fairness LN, Jack was not alone that day, he still tried his heart out, most Contested possessions on the ground, alot of players had really bad games. His first 2 finals were fantastic and at times pretty inspirational (relatively speaking) coming off a no lead up matches. He is like nearly every player in the comp, has his faults and limitations but i will take his attitude and competitiveness every single day.

I find it interesting that Jack has become some sort of whipping boy. Others have suffered injuries and been given the luxury of not being questioned on everything they do on return. Jack had serious foot injuries, its going to impact. To call him a liability is just sensationalist to say the least. Jack was never particularly quick. Jack was never an amazing kick. Jack is a competitor, he has a drive that others lack he is fierce at the contest. Leadership may not be his strong suit, but i saw him lead unbelievably in out 2 finals wins coming off little prep and game time. Let 's just let him play and watch him go. Our team is better with Jack Viney in it.

Im pretty sure he would have thought it through. Fact of the matter is, we have depth in the midfield, and Brayshaw in particular needs to be at the coalface, he is no good on a wing or a HBF, Viney will get more time, Sparrow is coming through, Add Petracca to the mix, even Jackson in there at times. Harmes reads it well, is good over head, uses the ball nice, can run, is tough and has a defensive mindset. Its a good move.

I just like winning, any game where we win is great, Last pre season i think we lost nearly everything. We look like a club that has had a plan all pre season, players fir, depth showing. Im so excited about what we can do this year, we look like a team that enjoyable to watch again. I know its a practice match, and people tend to tell us to relax, but id mych rather be excited about winning a praccy match that a bit worried because we have list games in the pre season. Club feels good at the moment.

I put the clamps on Gus and ever since he has just got gradually better. Great sign.

Agree with that. We shouldnt rush him, get fit, get confident, might be a great bonus for us.

I think the best thing to come out of this game is that it looks like we have depth, more so than ever. Its exciting.
