  1. Sparrow played a better game. Kosi was great, but rest assured, doing the basics will win you more games than the x-factor stuff. Needs to get the basics right. But was his best game involvement wise.
  2. yeah sadly i think he is.. he had a terrific 2018.. but it was not tracking that well in 2019 before his injury, he kicked 53.20 in 20 games in 2018 and in 2019 he kicked 18.15 in 15 games, including a bag of 6 against the blues, i had my doubts whether or not he was the answer going fwd.. He has a great motor which is his strength, but at his best in 2018 he was leading up and back and jumping at balls.. he cant get off the ground now, no power in his launching foot. It might be a blessing..as we will get game into Jackson now, he is the future, he moves just as well as teh King boys and is better on teh ground and watching him on Wednesday night, he jumps at the footy and always hits the ground going fwd. Has early signs of being a really really good player. Brown is expendable, he is sitting in teh wings not doing anything, he is a goer, he would love a chance.. he is a good footballer and we should use him when we can IMO.
  3. I think Tom is shot to be honest and its the same as AVB. Foot issues are pretty debilitating, lost all burst speed they had, and you just cant get enough flexibility to turn quickly.. sadly Tom is a straight line player now.. which does not bode well for him. If max is rested, then Pruess must be a serious consideration if he is fit.. if not then i dont see any other alternative than its more jackson and even possibly a mobile Brown to assist?
  4. He is 23 years old.. he is a star. Frustrating at times? of course, not many aren't. But he is an A-Grader.
  5. some Oliver ranking as it stands, all with a game less as well: AFL RANKINGS disposals - 3rd Inside 50s - 15th Cont Poss - 2nd Ground Ball gets - 2nd Centre Clear - 2nd Stoppage Clear - 6th Tackles - 3rd Pressure acts - 1st Out an out star. Those in the media suggesting he should be in trade mix should be embarrassed
  6. im anti trading Viney.. he ha smore competitive spirit in his little finget than some on our list. I see a lot of people saying you wont get much for Angus Brayshaw.. i think clubs will pay for him. Cartlon would absolutely love him, another inside body to compliment Cripps.. I watched the Semi against Geelong last night.. the difference in the way we are playing is so stark and there are 4 main people who the flow on affect has been huge: Tom Mc - not a shadow of his shadow Brayshaw - no longer a threat anywhere Jetta - sadly father time has called Melksham - Not getting enough out of him as a senior player
  7. SO what we know is Tom and Kozzy out, and AVB in. I think Bennell may come in but we need a crumber. i would bring sparg on. We need people at the feet of Weid and Jackson.. Melk, Fritsch and Hannan are the same player.. what has happened to bedford?
  8. This is 100% correct. Harmes is notr a naturally smart footy player, when he was assigned a player to tag, they took him to contests, they put him around the ball, he can win a clearance.. had a great 2018 doing this.. why in teh name of hades has this stopped?
  9. There is more chance of you being the next coach.. im moving on. Go Dees.
  10. Good, i saw it after the game thought it was beyond ordinary. glad its been deleted.
  11. Of course he is fair game, but your vitriol is misguided and narrow minded. Instead of the set you have against him, open your eyes and move on and acknowledge that the club has more pressing problems than a past player who appointed a bad coach a while ago... you see Carlton did that twice with Malthouse and Bolton.. yet they have moved on and are getting it together, St Kilda did it twice, they have moved on, the Lions did it twice, they have moved on. I suggest you move on...
  12. yep really angry about it, you dont see other clubs cheersquads smashing a past captain, Team of the Century, B&F winner publicly. I cant imagine the club would like that.. Irony i'd imagine is lots in the cheersquad sat in the stands and cheered Garry plenty of times..
  13. Also while im at i thought this tweet from the official Cheersquad was classless, cheap and very disrespectful.. Demon Army @DeeArmy · Jul 30 Although tonight’s performance is as Garry says, he will forever be remembered for bringing in Neeld. To begin a complete deestroyation of the MFC. That’s some sort of legacy, Garry.
  14. Seriously, had enough of this agenda against him, fair enough you didnt like the decision with Neeld, he has said he got it wrong, you dont even have to like him, but he hasnt ruined the club and to suggest otherwise is just ignorance of the highest order. This is the problem with a large portion of teh supporter base, they look for blame everywhere else in stead of teh core of the club.
  15. No other side would carry Brayshaw the way we have.. has to be dropped, needs to be traded.
  16. 5 key ball carriers tonight were beyond disappointing. Harmes - Regressed Brayshaw - regressed Jones - Done Fritsch - good when the going is good Oliver - Tries all teh time.. but cannot kick kills us. Team is cooked.
  17. I feel like Nev is going to ground or searching for frees. He doesnt have the confidence in his pace, it happens to a lot of older players. He still has strengths but its his weakness's now that are hurting.
  18. An absolute liability and is being carried. Cant explain his performance or hs attitude. Both stink. Must be traded at the end of the year, clubs will want him and we will get something of value. Really disappointing player. 9 Disposals 2 tackles and 70 m gained.. thats not good enough. The heat goes on Oliver and teh kid tries his guts out every week and generally plays really well. When will teh heat come for this bloke?
  19. Carrying way too many at the moment. Pickett, Bennell, Brayshaw.. Can someone explain what James Harmes role in the team is? is he tagging tonight? Nathan Jones is finished, sadly, so Is Nev, great warriors, but a few yards off it.
  20. Could Harmes go to Raynor? or does he go to McCluggage? I think Hibbo could match up well with Raynor though.
  21. Agree, Lockhart stays in, there smalls are dynamic, its about continuity in the backline as well. They are doing well as a group our scores against this year are: R1 - 78 WC in Perth R2 - 53 Carlton R3 - N/A v Ess R4 - 47 v Geelong R5 - 70 v Rich R6 - 63 v GC R7 - 48 v Haw I think there will be no change but i would get Tom Mc in.. Not sure who goes out though
  22. this is a game where match ups are really important to look at. They Have in the way of talls: Back: Andrews (Weid) / Gardner ( Jackson) - TOM MC Stretch their defence? FWD: Hipwood (Oscar) / McStay (May) / Oscar Macinerny ( TOM MC down Back?) Ruck: Steph Martin (Max) Charlie Cameron is their most dangerous player, one of the best in teh comp.. this match up needs to be spot on is it Hibbo? he is playing well
  23. Lions defenders are in elite form, Harris Andrews does not get beaten much.. its next level next week. T-Mac might be a good option just on experience.
  24. Pickett 6 possession game was really good i thought. there are many similarities between him and cyril. MINIMAL INPUT, MAXIMUM RESULT
  25. There were to many.. the umpiring in all games is a great concern.. decisions that are paid versus ones that are not is out of control.
