Welcome to Demonland: Amelia Dethridge
Players selected: Molly O'Hehir (pick No.3), Maggie Mahony (pick No.21), Amelia Dethbridge (pick No.63) Melbourne threw the first bid up at pick No.2, nominating Gold Coast Academy product Havana Harris, which was very quickly matched by the Suns. With their pick defaulting to No.3, the Demons selected classy West Australian Molly O'Hehir, who at 179cm can rotate through half-back and the midfield, providing plenty of height to Melbourne's diminutive engine room. Another midfield layer was added in Maggie Mahony, who's a contested workhorse and will run all day. She also has an elite hockey background. The Dees stuck to hockey when it came to their final pick (after Aimee Mackin was listed as inactive), landing Amelia Dethridge. The 18-year-old also has a background in national cross-country and swimming, and has played school footy in the past few years with Lauriston Girls' School.

Welcome back to Demonland: Tayla Harris
Haw originally refused to include pick 14 in any deal. They now have an additional 2nd round pick at 22 to go along with 28. A deal along the line of 14 and 22(28) for Harris and 20 may temp the hawks??? 14,28 TH 20

Lily Mithen off to the Suns?
Bris and Adel had the huge advantage of both being the first teams in their state and also being able to have the pick of half the state in drafts. While the likes of Melb had the pick of 1/9 of Vic players. Now the state based draft has gone this will bring Adel and Bris back to a level playing field, hopefully.

Lily Mithen off to the Suns?
in a season when the injuries piled up she kept her spot in the team. That doesn't mean she's best 20. Trading a best 18-25 player and a 2nd round pick for pick 2 is a no brainer. As the posters above have stated the game has gone pas her. The younger girls coming into the game now are at such a higher level then when the AFLW started and we need to get more into the team

WHERE DO THEY COME FROM?
How could you choose to play AFL for a Tasmanian PS when they dont even have a team yet??? Did most kids choose to play EPL??

Welcome to Demonland: Aidan Johnson
Great story but he's coming from a long way back. Its not everything but he was far from dominating VFL goalkicking. 36th on the goal kicking table. McAdam kicked more than him. Didnt kick a goal in the VFL finals series with his biggest haul for the season only 3. The year before only kick 18 goals in the relative weak WRFL comp. Id expect more from a full forward. Great get for Casey. In JT we trust.

The Bo Allan Thread
so know one really knows who's going where and everyone is just throwing around the same 4-5 names for a pick at 5.

The Bo Allan Thread
No one said you cant give your opinion, that's what this place is for. I like reading yours dazzle. i admit the original post to Willy Warrior doesn't read like I wanted it to. Was more the only opinion on order that counts is JT.

The Bo Allan Thread
What if JT ranks Allen the 5th best player??? It doesn't really matter what you think, you aren't doing the picking.

2024 Phantom Drafts
Had the same thoughts. He mentioned the small group more than once unprompted.

The Bo Allan Thread
Who says it will be a reach?? You, Deespenser? Bigfooty? Cal?? In the Tauru thread you have said not to reach for him at pick 5. Neither will be a reach if picked. They will be picked where JT ranks them. That's not a reach.
