Thanks, DeeZone! I believe this was his first year as a midfield coach specifically - and of course, that responsibility was shared with first-time coach Jonesy (each with different focuses). Wet Toast will certainly enjoy Radford's cross organisation experience!

Well, this season we've underperformed in the midfield set up so it would be helpful to replace Radford with an insightful and experienced midfield assistant coach

Marchbank lied about touching the ball when we scored a goal, and so we lost to Carlton by 2 or 3 points in the second or third last game of the season... as a result, we did not finish second and so we faced the Pies in the prelims and so on, so forth. This will forever be my conspiracy theory of our unravelling!

To those who keep on saying Jeffo shows more and is better than Kolt... just remember Jeffo has had an extra year on Kolt, had a preseason, and yet is not a complete player still (which is not unusual for young talls). If you can give Jeffo time, then you can give Kolt time to recover and then develop.

Clarry is wonderful! Here's a sketch from a few years back. I don't seem to have a photo of the more detailed portrait I did of him (and am travelling so away from sketchboom), from one of the games where he was scratched on the forehead and was applauded as he went off for the blood rule. Clarry is always so joyously intent when he's on the field, especially when he's at his fittest and performing miracles 🥰❤️💙

Interestingly, I attended the Crows game and the corporate lunch at the behest of my client the other week. Their Head of Footy spoke before the match and sounded word for word like Goody. "Trust in the process, one game at a time" etc etc Seems like it's a prudent approach to keeping the lid on things at the club, rather than spin. (So nice to see my first game in person this season!! Bizarre to have to bite my tongue and there were a few moments that the Crows supporters gave me a dirty look or two. They were good sports, though, and even clapped Lever off the field. Maybe in part because I said loudly "it's not like the Crows would want to boo an injured player" and clapped menacingly 😁)
