  1. I think Ross is dyslexic and the sign is meant to be for the boys to keep them on the straight and narrow - no Milfing
  2. Very good side. Brown and Hibberd stiff but they donโ€™t all fit.
  3. Some assembly required!
  4. Welcome Kye. 1cm too short for KPF according to collective demonland wisdom. But donโ€™t let that worry you, sKye is the limit!
  5. Least they have eachother!
  6. I think Joel would know at https://www.grandoldflag.com.au/items-for-saletrade
  7. Missing in Action Jackson?
  8. Yes agree, he is the most aggressive too - T-Mac the meatasaurus.
  9. Gosh Deemac that was risky!. My understanding of genetics is shaky but with red-blue-white-black genes you could have even ended up with offspring having gene expression for Western Bulldogs, Norf, Geelong, Carlton or worse Essendon! Good solution though!
  10. Donโ€™t understand the logic here. Are you saying reset to 0 if when a Tasmanian team enters the comp? Why bother then?
  11. First training session I have been to and I may have been the second best footballer there (I was with dad who was a handy suburban ruckman in his day)! Seriously we were both disappointed not to see and photograph our beloved demons. Go Deeโ€™s - we can win the flag this year!
  12. How much charge is left in the batteries?
  13. Watershed year at the Deeโ€™s for Dunstan? Was a great contributor at Casey and key reason for flag, and can be very proud. I like him as he is an honest footballer but canโ€™t see him playing 1โ€™s unless it is inside mid and both Clarrie and Vines are out/rested. From watching Casey he hasnโ€™t improved his quick disposal like we needed him to. Gets it OK and can/will run both ways.
  14. demosaw replied to old dee's topic in Melbourne Demons
Great Britain (or just Britain) is the main landmass/island occupied by countries England, Scotland and Wales which together with Northern Ireland form the United Kingdom. Wasnโ€™t always this unitedโ€ฆ
  15. You at least got a participation award!
  16. We have the culture now, great leadership examples, and have been recruiting with character/leadership traits in mind for a good while now. While we have great understudies in our current leadership group it is possible that our next captain may emerge from the current 21-23 yo crop and surprise most of us, particularly if Gawn can stay another 3-4yrs mostly on the park.
  17. We are a broad community! I grew up in a Richmond zone and while I loved it when their players came to our school and we did drills on the oval I couldnโ€™t stand the team. After many demons hammerings I did have a brief flirtation with Hawthorn and was known to get around in a Melbourne jumper and Hawks beanie, so I wasnโ€™t actually in the closet. Didnโ€™t last long and was at Waverley prelim 1987 and cried.
  18. Ben Cousins better
  19. Kosi is very special, so good already but still so much upside. I hope he is happy settled this year at/in Melbourne and decides to sign with us for as long as he wants. If he moves on Iโ€™ll be shattered but at least he wonโ€™t be lost to the AFL. I still enjoyed watching the Wiz at Freo, even against us. None of us saw enough Liam Jurrah or Allen Jacovich (very different circumstances) though.
  20. Agree. Round 9 WCE and 10 Nth Melbourne were early and missed opportunities to rest key veterans/bad niggles.
  21. Adelaide catch and release
  22. Yes some ruckman have a few dominant seasons but Cox had a decade of dominance.
  23. Butchered that one
