Grundy is reputably on $7M over 7 years. It would be unlike a footy club esp. Collingwood to frontload esp. after the 2020 firesale. He would be an expensive back-up to Gawn with not being of use for the first 3 years. Gawn/Preus didn't work. Gawn/LJ works because of LJ's mobility. Meek has played 12 games over 5 years and averages 0.2 goals a match. Not very compelling. Lobb no longer looks a gilt-edged investment after last night. I have met many young person from Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane who just loved the bright lights of the big city (Melbourne). Freo have pick 12 and then 80 something. Toby was only unused medi-sub in his game against Essendon. Nothing to pique there interest there. He had 11 disposals and 2 goals in each match against Freo and the Brisvegas. Teams seem to mostly notice games against themselves.
