Judd McVee Contract
Like many of the players, he is a shadow of his 22/23 self. Like MFC itself. He was a promising on-baller and can be again.

Judd McVee Contract
The draft is a bit chancy for him. The selections and hence destination club, in the 10 - 20 range change minute by minute on the night.

Cool!

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Fun fact - the apprentice job was first offered to Stuart Dew but he turned it down. The succession plan was a requirement by Roos.

The Rowan Marshall Thread
(If true), getting a bit uppity for the help. A bad precedent even if he is one of the greatest Demons ever.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
The former senior coaches are available because they failed. They would have some explaining to do.

The List Manager
Hmm. He used to look good coming on as sub towards the end of the game.

2025 MRO & Tribunal
I was hoping for the Weather Girls. The Tassie Devils could sign them up as they landed.

Tairon Ah-Mu - No access for Dees NGA Talent
Then why is he in MFC's development academy? Very possibly I am missing something but what is it?

Players Unwritten Code
There was a victim; indeed many. All those who have the same characteristic and are told that their characteristic is a matter of shame and a device for abuse and/or humour. Then add those who respect or love the collateral damage or simply think that they deserve a fair go.

Footballers PTSD
As a reader of George MacDonald Fraser's Flashman series, I know what you are writing about. Hmm, makes me feel kind of smug <laugh out loud>.

Players Unwritten Code
IMO it is a lesser evil to dob, and eradicate the greater evil.

I'm thinking Maynard, Moore, and dropping a HV cable on the dodgems.

Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
J Viney contracted until 2008. I would be happy to see 2 or 3 of the long/lucrative contract players go, as long as they each left no more than $200k behind. The mega-contracts turned out to be foolish and presumed the club/coach could deal with issues as they arose, thus leading to a new glorydays. $200k X 3 = $600 p.a. and similar in effect to a second tier player going down with an ACL. The club that must not be named, traded out at bargain prices, after the departure of he who possibly will be named, top players such as Treloar. Then, they won a flag and contest for others. Nonetheless, maturely owning our decisions , MFC should stand by their contracts and not do a Pertie (allegedly). Tell me more of he who may possibly be named. Apparently, he only lost finals by a slim margin. But then, that was rather our problem with the straight sets, wasn't it. PS BTW FWIW, ditto Pickett.

PREGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
At the time, I was even more impressed with Biffin's elbow work in Round 22 1979. Grand days from the safety of the stand.

Judd McVee Contract
Needs a coach to mentor and develop him . Same goes for Howes, Langford, McVee, Kolstrop, Lindsay, Rivers, Hrnderson, Windsor, Culley, etc. who showed a bit to start with but are now still getting a kicking from the fans.

The Trade, Draft & Free Agency Board is Open
Anyone out for a pick 10 - 20. Petracca, Oliver, Pickett, etc. the same. The salary dump is enough. In Cashel Dear at 195, 19 years and pick 58 rather an older VFL player. Or another with a distinguing aspect.
