Cameron 8-10 weeks, probably back after the bye. Will make KBW interesting - "knees-up" Cox will be in for a workout.
-
The Collingwood ruck crisis is real IMO. With Cameron, Cox and Begg all out for multiple weeks, it's all very well to talk about using Frampton, McStay or Johnson, but that just hurts them in other areas, especially back using Frampton with Howe already out.

We had 8 defenders in the selected 22 so Rivers and/or Brayshaw needed to play midfield minutes. For selection I'd bring Kossie and either TMac or Tomlinson in for Melksham and BBB into the 23. Then it's up for grabs whether we go tall or small with the sub.

At least there was no panic in our game day thread in the 2nd and 3rd quarter ...

8.3 to 8.6 since quarter time - sounds disastrous!

Cox out injured. It could get interesting if Cameron gets an injury too.

It happened to Carlton - sent them into a 20 year and counting death spiral

No Verrall or KFW?

Sydney $1.08 at home vs Hawthorn. If you take that bet now 36hrs out I make it 1000%pa interest on your money.

Are you predicting if we lose it be because of Tomlinson?

The article is not really about the kid though, it's all about the dad and his anguish. Long may it continue!

Yes and ChatGPT not smart enough to spell it correctly either. There's hope for DNA yet ...

going back-to-back?

Adding Fritsch is a different proposition to adding Schache or JVR - the players who are currently available. If Fritsch was available this week then I doubt Laurie plays.
-
I guess you're referring to Pickett, ANB, Spargo, Chandler and Laurie. In the pre-season we rotated Pickett and ANB through the midfield to lessen the load on last year's core. Opponent: Richmond CBAs: 31 - James Harmes 20, Clayton Oliver 20, Max Gawn 16, Christian Petracca 15, Brodie Grundy 15, Kysaiah Pickett 13, Tom Sparrow 12, Alex Neal-Bullen 7, Angus Brayshaw 4, Taj Woewodin 1, Trent Rivers 1 So that means 3 specialist small forwards under 183cm. We could play an extra tall, say Schache or JVR, in place of one of them but that would be in addition to Brown, TMac and Gawn/Grundy in the forward line. I'm pretty confident you'd be complaining that is too top-heavy. FWIW, I think it will be a very good win if we can beat the Dogs (who are really only missing Gardiner and Weightman) without May, Fritsch, Viney and Salem.

Yes OK reserved seats will be a lot more expensive.

Ever stood in the outer at the Western oval back in the day? -
Does Kade make the grade, or will it be Chandlermonium

And yet Bedford was offered a 3 year deal and took one at GWS. Doesn't this value him at $3 on @DeeSpencer scale? IMO Chandler is certain to be offered at least a 2 year extension this year so that values him $2 on the scale. He's part of the squad of 28 or more players we need to contend, even if he doesn't play every game. Like Bedford he might leave for more opportunity elsewhere. -
They seem quite contrasting?

Tigers' backline will be stretched with Balta and Miller vs McKay and Curnow. Maybe they hope Grimes or Vlastuin can go with Curnow.

"General admission tickets for games at the MCG and Marvel Stadium will stay at $27 for adults, $18 for concession card holders and $5 for kids over five years old, while kids under five can get into games for free." That looks like 2 x $27 + 2 x $5 = $64. Less than half your calculation. It's pretty good value.
