Clue 4: interestingly, of current listed players, new draftees Matt Jefferson and Jed Adams are in the van to become eligible. But James Jordon may get there first.
-
@tilly18 has it!
-
Hint 3: Shane Woewodin was hoping to make the team but now he won't. Taj Woewodin can become eligible though - possibly even this year.
-
@Mazer Rackhamhas it!
-
Clue #2: James McDonald and Bernie Vince would love to join this team if possible.

@Demonstone has it

Agree. It's possible we go with just one tall forward, Gawn and Grundy and Fritsch with 4 smalls. If we do that then the one tall will be TMac or Brown, unlikely to be the inexperienced JVR with Gawn/Grundy. I think we need 2 tall forwards - so 50 games combined from TMac, Brown and JVR, and it's unlikely we'll get 25 from any one of them. I think they each get to play a fair amount of AFL games.

Looks like we'll play the Saints at Moorabbin prior to versing Richmond?

We could have "Laurie is in the van" - a commentary term that has been lost in time.

"You should have been here yesterday"

The 2002 Semifinal vs Adelaide was probably the craziest game I've been to, even though we lost. Travis Johnstone and that 3rd quarter were something else.
-
Brad Close did kick 26 goals.

A bit of angst on this thread about playing WC yet again in Perth. But I'm quite happy to see Dogga against us first up at the MCG.

I'm unconvinced that aberrant behaviour at soccer matches is limited to the "fringe element" and "the dregs of society". It doesn't sound consistent with the type of measures required at Philips Stadion as referenced above and at many other soccer stadia in the world. If indeed the problem is just with a small minority of supporters then the game should be able to police this.

Not sure what you were trying to say in that first par Bin "... of song the 2021 bigly ..." but old mate has taken umbrage.
-
Maybe we'll rookie Trent Burgoyne
-
Why do they punch on? I'm fascinated to hear an explanation that is not related to the game.
-
When the Dogga leaves When Peter Bell speaks When I'm feeling sad I simply remember the Ed Langdon trade And then I don't feel so bad
-
It is ironic that a game in which off-side is so pivotal has to be decided in a penalty shoot out which specifically dispenses with off-side.
-
I think most posters critiquing the game in this thread are drawing a line between its deficiencies and unruly crowd behaviour.

How about 31yo and a bit beaten up over the years?
