  1. It's the Indian Express the night before each match

  3. Disagree. That has to be definitive PO. Kicking to yourself was never an intention of the behind kick in, if anything they should tighten that to say that the player who first touches the ball has to have his feet outside the square otherwise it's an invalid kicking in and bounced at the top of the square like when the kicker goes over the line. This would make the kicker kick out of the square to himself, the dinky kick to self in the square is a joke and a perversion of the rule.
  4. A score above 40 represents approximately top 9% in that subject. Those subject scores are very good. http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Pages/faqs/vcecurrentstudents.aspx#H3N100A9 What is a study score? A study score shows how well you have performed in a study at Unit 3 and 4 level, compared to everybody else in Victoria who took that study. Study scores calculated by the VCAA will be used by the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) to calculate the ATAR. The maximum study score is 50. Each year, and for every study, the mean study score is set at 30. A score of between 23 and 37 shows that you are in the middle range of students; a score of 38 or more indicates that you are in the top 15%. For studies with large enrolments (1,000 or more): 2% of students will get a score on or above 45 9% of students will get a score on or above 40 26% of students will get a score on or above 35 53% of students will get a score on or above 30 78% of students will get a score on or above 25 93% of students will get a score on or above 20.
  5. How are your whipping boys the moighty Toigs looking George?
  6. Some like me are fascinated by player numbers. When I think of the list I always think in number order. Without that reference I would leave players out.
  7. IMO we should just allocate it to the next available player next year and let them create their own story in it. I think resting 31 just increases the burden. Look at 1, it has had the least auspiscious journey, but now it's in good hands and may have it's time. The fortunes of numbers will ebb and flow as they should.
  8. Yeah Trump waiting on this decision too before naming Secretary of State
  9. Important to some like me - what's the final set? I've heard 19 Hannan, 37 Johnstone and 45 Keilty. What about Filipovic and Smith? Are 31 and 38 allocated? Training watchers?
  10. Maybe we believe we have enough new and young players to develop and we judge that adding one more of questionable quality at RD50 just dilutes our development resources.
  11. Agreed. GWS held their own internal investigation and cleared Allan and Lambert and continued employing them. But apparently now they were "rogue". GWS should be punished more severely for taking the pizz
  12. It was initially reported in The Age that he was declared fit to play in the last 5 rounds of 2016 but chose not to. Then The Age reported that he believed he had been unfairly restricted from playing so that he couldn't reach his contract renewal point and was threatening to sue. That's the inconsistency. But I'm with ManDee - you can't believe everything you read - I think there's a fair amount of media speculation going. Mahoney has indicated this in the most recent AFL site article. I think it's fairly safe to conclude, as others have here, that HL's AFL career is over and that he is trying to maximise his payout.
  13. You're not selling you're buying. Some getting on at bargain price, you'll end paying top dollar later.
  14. Talk of rushing some retirement decision to free a list spot is unwarranted. We'd free up pick 80-something in the ND. we'd likely get the same player in the RD if we want them.
  15. Yeah but there's other "smoke" circulating about Oliver's behaviours and this is "fire" evidence. Players with "elite preparation" behaviours can often be a bit vanilla on field. We can benefit from Oliver's dynamic personality attributes but he has to channel them for that benefit to be realised.
  16. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-11-21/delayed-preseason-for-lumumba-as-concussion-lingers Bold is firming.
  17. I think there's truth in that. Clarrie comes as an entire package. But poor preparation leads to poor performance - hopefully Macca can get through to him.
  18. Apparently many think they know more about this than Jennifer Watt - General Manager Marketing and Communications Who recently won the Graeme Samuel Scholarship: http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-08-05/jennifer-watt-wins-graeme-samuel-scholarship And who has been specifically seconded by the AFL to re-invent Etihad as fan friendly: http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/afl-trying-to-reinvent-etihad-stadium-as-a-fanfriendly-venue-20161028-gsdaeh.html
